The owner will put a pass code on all of the dish network receivers in all of the rooms and NOT give them to the front desk help so you can unlock it. Plus the front desk help was rude when I asked about it.
The place was clean and generally ok but a bid of noise above us also ear piercing noise when people use the water the price was ok it was close to places to eat but very hard to get out of driveway a bit dangerous heat was a bit problematic had to put it up high
A little over priced but it was in season. Several restaurants close by. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate. Location is right off the highway. There is an old train track and a river adjacent to th parking lot. Overall an ok place to stay
So I’ll start by saying I generally put hotels in 2 categories. Resort options and/or functionality. This hotel is perfect for a one night need to sleep/shower and keep going in the morning. Anything else just select a different hotel. The front desk was efficient and nice, the bed was good, shower was hot, ac was cold and the tv actually had better entertainment options than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in the last few years. All the staff was welcoming and helpful. It sounds great but it wouldn’t have been enough had we been staying more than 1 night after a concert. The parking lot is sketchy at best although it does have plentiful easy parking. The place looks and feels like a cheap motel that hasn’t been updated in 20 years. We did not leave the room except for checkout. It’s not a place you want to live the “hotel life” at. It’s basically a room to rest, sleep shower and leave. I wouldn’t bring my kids or family here. For a solo stay or couples on a road trip (which we were) it served it’s purpose for one night. But it’s still high priced given the “resort town” location but I would pay the extra 50 dollars to stay at a better place if it was for more than one night.…
First room had food crumbs on the end table and dried puke or food on the bed spread. It was dirty. I got woken up from a bug landing on my neck, thought it was a cockroach the person at desk said it was a beetle. Still not sure. Didn’t eat there. Didn’t use towels. Disappointed.
We stayed in July for the NASCAR race. The front desk people were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was a lingering musty smell that we couldn't figure out. Next year we will try to find a different place.
This hotel was filthy and appears to have sever rooms being lived in (plants and decorations on the windowsills). The manager lives on property and keeps his room propped open with a doorstop. We blocked the door with a chair while sleeping, which I’ve never done before. That’s how shady this place is.
The rooms are poorly lighted, and the bathroom is moldy. The hotel smells like cigarettes and mildew. The staff is friendly and I'm sure doing their best, but save yourself a sleepless night and stay somewhere else
Homeless sleeping in cars in the parking lot, sleeping in hammocks hung in the trees on the property. Watched two individuals using drugs in the parking lot directly in front of the building. While checking out saw an obvious prostitute with a man checking in. Staff didn’t care about any of it.
The price was amewzing for a fantastic and clean place to sleep. Had a meowtastic time. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Meow.. meow. Mew.. However please supply cream cheese for the bagels. Thank mew.
