Just returned from a school ski trip to Waterville Valley staying at The Snowy Owl. It was the perfect base for our group of 40 students. The hotel catered for a number of large ski groups at the same time, with each group rotating breakfast and lunch times around each other. Somehow Steve and his staff always seemed to be...

Went for a hockey tournament. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was ok... Don't look under the beds. One other family had no heat in there room. Would we stay for a vacation, probably not. But it served its purpose for the kids and the tournament.

We spent one night at the Inn when we ran the Black Bear 1/2 Marathon. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a small breakfast buffet, but if you want anything substantial you will need to go somewhere else. There is a cute little village right there that you can walk to. They had...

We arrived to check in and there was literally nobody working. The front desk was abandoned but had our keys and a note saying to sign a form and leave it and check back at the desk in the morning to "Settle the bill". There were two other sets of keys there as well. Good thing somebody didn't take one...

We booked 2 rooms over the New Years holiday week. The rooms are standard but the inn is cozy with excellent staff and a delicious home made breakfast and afternoon snack. The lobby has lots of places to hang out by the fire and play games and the largest cat in the North East who will come and sit on...

The location is great for both downhill and cross country skiiers or shopping and eating in the Village Square! The rooms are charming and rustic with great views. Our room had a jacuzzi which was wonderful. The pool and hot tubs are a plus for families.

Friend and I were exhausted and we did an online search and found the Snow Owl Inn with a few miles of Mt Tecumseh. We were exhausted and their rates were reasonable. The room and Inn was clean and neat. They wered a continental breakfast the next day. Thereafter we left to climb another 4,000 footer, Mt Osceola. Two 4,000...

We stayed at the Snowy Owl for the second time this past July 2016. We came with a group tour for the Nascar races. The staff at this hotel is phenomenal. Very caring and ready to help in any way possible. This is an older ski lodge that oozes with charm. We love it, and this bus tour has been...

This hotel is right next door to the "town" of Waterville Valley, has free parking and was rather clean. It is very dated. The bathroom is strange, with a window opening to the bedroom. The bedding was acceptable. Many long dark hallways. One can only exit or enter at the front desk, therefore the rooms are a bit noisy with...

Recently we went back to the Snowy Owl Inn for one night. We had been going there off and on for many years and had always enjoyed the amenities. We had not been back in a couple of years, so decided to go back up to enjoy the beautiful foliage. We were very disappointed. The room was comfortable enough, clean...
