We made a reservation for Snowy Owl Inn, a king room, using the hotel website. We went there in a beautiful autumn weekend. It was an off season date but for this long weekend White Mountains region was really crowded. The hotel was a beautiful surprise. It has a very warm atmosphere and I can’t wait being there after a...

This isn't the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but it sure isn't even close to great. We stayed here on a weekend with our dog. We were relegated to a back side room close to the front - totally get that - don't want dogs walking around the whole place. It was like the whole place got flooded...

Location was scenic and well kept. The hotel was clean and neat. Only complaint was the continental breakfast. It only offered individually wrapped donuts and muffins with mediocre coffee and warm OJ. other than this the stay was quite nice and the shopping center directly next door was really nice and enjoyable.

Beautifully located in the White Mountains, friendly and accommodating staff, & nice rooms. I would stay here again. The only part that needed improvement was the beds were firmer than we are used to, but it was not a deterrent for a return.

I went to the Highland Games a couple of weekends ago, and due to my lack of planning had to take what was available online for a hotel. This seemed to be a reasonable choice only ten miles away . From there on out nothing was even close to deserving the title of resort. I booked on Hotels.com and I...

Waterville Valley is a beautiful, adventure filled, fun town to visit but do not stay here. The main issue is safety. The safety issues are these ...Firstly, the keys used are old metal keys that can be copied so anyone who has stayed in your room before can get back in. (Yes the likelihood is small but why take the...

I would like to start and say that the surroundings of Waterville Valley are gorgeous ! I spent a few days there and rented 4 rooms. The rooms were next to each other in our own section. We were able to use the adjoining common room privately. The rooms were very old fashioned, the doors actually had brass keys (...

Usually I stay at the Golden Eagle when I visit Waterville Valley with my family, but this year due to a shortage of rooms we stayed at the Snowy Owl Inn. Even though my family booked three rooms together, we all ended up on different floors in different kinds of rooms. My partner and I asked to switch rooms to...

I wouldn't recommend this place, but I wouldn't stop anyone from coming here either. The room wasn't "modern" as described, but we expected so much (old tube TV, retro-ish decor). The bathroom door was warped so it was nearly impossible to open/close fully. The pool / Jacuzzi room was stuffy; the Jacuzzi didn't have enough water in it and you...

Clean facility - very little else to offer. Limited breakfast daily. Best suited for young families with kids vs. adults looking for a resort destination. Suspect since we were there in th summer might be reason for limited service. Trash barrels at entrance of propeorty were overflowing for 3 straight days.
