Interesting Establishment

We stayed at this establishment based on Tripadvisor reviews. Think of your normal B&B interesting décor, steep stairs and dated furniture and you have The Lion and the Rose. The owners were very friendly, the rooms a bit old, the windows need to be updated...More

outstanding themed rooms, excellent care by owners, each room has ensuite bath, lovely town

This place is off the beaten track, but certainly worth the drive there. They have a Lion Room, a Rose Room (of course), an Egyptian room with an Egyptian throne in it, no less! I love this place and want to return.

Victorian house with lots of character and great hosts
