My husband and I stayed her for 3 nights and I will stay here again next time in Wolfeboro. I’m fussy about bed and pillow comfort, linens and cleanliness. The Inn checks all those boxes! Do not judge a book by its cover. The building exterior looks like a typical motel but the inside reflects wonderful room renovations done a few years ago. Rooms are adequate in size and modern and totally updated with nice touches and furnishings. We had the standard room which has a quiet mini fridge. No carpeting in rooms - laminate type wood (I think). Bathroom small but nice vanity. A bathtub with good shower water pressure. Large flat screen TV. Everyone on staff is friendly and super helpful. If you ask, they will lend you a beach pass. We loved the Allen Albee Beach a 2 minute drive behind the Inn. It has a newer bath house and ample parking. Lovely spot on Lake Wentworth. They have a nice pool and stock each room with towels. Also a large stone patio and gas fire pit which they will train you how to operate for when the office is closed. They have 2 Weber gas grills. An easy 5 minute drive into Town and not too difficult finding parking but helps to do a little research in advance to know your options. We enjoyed Cate Park by the Town Docks. Lots of picnic tables where we ate done of our to go meals.

Looks like a typical motel from the outside but the rooms are modern and comfortable and have every convenience you could want: large flat screen TV with plenty of channels, the internet works, there are enough outlets for your electronics and rooms look like they've been recently redone. Very clean and neat: soothing colors, pergo floors, pretty furnishings, comfortable bed and linens. My room had a back door looking over a lawn (which admittedly could use a little more care and landscaping) so you could sit outside your room. There is a pool. The motel had a nice living room with a library and game area. The location is great for anywhere you want to go and you can even walk to the beach. I should mention that the lamps in your room turn on automatically when you put your hand near them and you never have to worry about losing your room key. They have a system where you put your palm in front of the lock, enter the last 4 digits of the phone # you gave them and presto: the door opens. When you leave you just close the door behind you, put your palm in front of the lock and it automatically locks:) Finally, the staff is beyond nice and helpful. If you are in the area, make sure to stay at the Lake Wentworth Inn. I would definitely stay here if zZI were in Wolfeboro again.

My wife and I were looking to explore the Wolfeboro area for the first time and needed a place to stay that would allow our dog and had space to park a boat trailer. I was very happy when I came across The Lake Wentworth Inn which checked all of our boxes, however we still had know idea what we were getting into and were a little guarded.

We arrived at a beautiful Inn, in a beautiful area. At check in I was lucky enough to meet Terri and her pup. Her kindness and warm welcoming was all that was needed for us to drop our guard. Although we arrived late, Terri stayed extra long to explain the area to us including restaurants, boat ramps and good times. She did it all with a smile on her face like her day was just starting, really made us feel welcome.

When we walked into our room, we were blown away by how nice and clean it was. The owners have done a complete remodel and did not cut any corners or spare any details. Everything was brand new, Faucets, laminate flooring throughout, light fixtures, shaker style cabinets and trim. No dust or grime to be found anywhere, it truly was like a showroom. I tip my hat to the owner's remodeling effort, it was amazing.

During our stay over Memorial day weekend, we had the time of our lives. We believe we have found the “hidden gem” we have been looking for. So much so that we booked this weekend as well and we have already booked our 10 day summer vacation and couldn't be more excited.
Thank you to the new owners for providing such a wonderful and clean place for my family to stay and enjoy. And a huge thank you to Terri for being so welcoming, kind and awesome!

See you soon

This old fashioned style motel was completely renovated in the past few years and is quite a nice place to stay. Check in was easy and conducted by a very friendly staff person. Its such a pleasure to back your car up to the door and unload as opposed to dealing with stairs and elevators. The spacious room was very comfortable, especially the bed, and included a frig and a quality hi def TV. There was a surprisingly large well furnished lobby that included games, a pool table, a fireplace, and just a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee. (Instant oatmeal was also provided in case you didn't want or need a large breakfast.) The location was maybe a quarter mile off the Cotton Valley Rail Trail, a great route to bike into town or for a longer ride in the other direction. Roughly the same distance was Albee Beach on Lake Wentworth. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Wentworth Inn

My husband and I vacationed here in mid July for two nights. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and gave us a map of Wolfeboro and took the time to highlight her favorite restaurants in the area. Our room was comfortable and included a good sized refrigerator and microwave, something I wish all rooms had, so this was a big perk. We didn't utilize the pool but it appeared nice as well as the game room. The hotel's proximity to the Cotton Valley rail trail was one of the draws for us as we utilized it to walk to Wolfeboro as well as get a run in our trip. Our second night we could hear the people in the room next door to us so I believe the walls are a bit thin and it made us stay awake longer than we preferred, but it was also a Friday night and we go to bed earlier than most people so I wouldn't fault the hotel for that.

Although the rooms were updated and clean, we were unsatisfied with our overall stay. During our hot summer stay, we were unable to use the pool during daylight. It was still sunny and hot but they close and lock the gates right at 7pm. We also asked to have the fire pit lit however was told it can’t be lit past 7pm.

On our last night there, one of the owners had a family party there. Not only did they take over the small pool and pool area well past the 7pm closing time (eating/swimming) but they then moved their party over to the fire pit area.
Even though we were told it’s not lit past 7pm, they started their fire around 8:30pm and it was still burning when we walked by the owners family party around 9:45pm (in the darkness since there’s no lightening behind the building).
Besides being in complete darkness, the mosquitos were so bad making it very difficult and unenjoyable to sit outside.

Being new owners, they did a great job of disregarding the paying customers for their own enjoyment and personal use. We will definitely not be returning.

Got here by chance but loved it: very, VERY well maintained motor inn outside of Wolfboro. Comfortable beds, great shower, meticulously clean. Friendly staff, huge lobby, very inviting, offering a pool table, library and more, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well a breakfast oatmeal. Build fire outside, advanced barbecue options, even a swimming pool (closed now). In the morning we enjoyed a short walk to the lake, as the inn is located les than 10 minutes walk from the lake’s beautiful beach.

The motel is .2 of a mile to Albee Beach, a wonderful place to swim in a gorgeous lake while surrounded by mountain views. Our room seemed newly updated. It was spare and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were mostly Covid-19 conscous which we appreciated; and as a motel, we had our own entry. We were able to get a pet friendly room for an extra $20/night. The grounds are spacious and well maintained with a small swimming pool in the middle.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Wentworth Inn. We were in Wolfeboro for a family wedding in Mid-October. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had 2 rooms, that were adjoining. They contained all of the amenities that we needed including a refrigerator/freezer, microwave and pack and play (which we called ahead to request). The staff was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay there again if in the area.

My family stayed here Labor Day weekend and absolutely loved our stay. First, the room was so incredibly clean and comfortable. Second, the grounds were so well kept up. The pool area was clean and the kids loved it. The fire pit was also such a perfect addition to hang out at night. Yes, it may close early, but you can get trained and sign a waiver so you can use it later. Then, you are right on the Cotton Valley Bike Path and a short walk to the most gorgeous beach, Allen Albee. Another plus is that you can bring your dog! We didn't bring our lab, but wouldn't hesitate now that we know the lay of the land. We absolutely loved our stay and are looking forward to returning!
