My wife and I stayed here 1 night. The nice receptionist processed my payment, then I signed a paper and received our key. Room #9 was spacious, carpeted and clean with a comfortable king bed and pillows. Nice TV with a complicated guide(local, BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, etc). Quick hot water, shampoo, soap and nice towels in the large bathroom, medium fridge, microwave and a quiet AC placed near the entry. Coffee and tea room next to reception. We did not use the small pool but walked across to the WMT Supercenter. Overall, a good night’s sleep just off Routes #10/#302.

This lodge was excellent ! I had the double queen beds w/ balcony i was impressed on how clean it was it had high cathedral ceilings. It felt very homey. I would 100% go there again to lodge with the family. Definitely better than a regular hotel 😁

Friendly and accessible place with log cabin charm. First floor basic room with plenty of space. Bring your own liquid dairy for your coffee (they do have a coffee room). If you want hot liquid late at night bring your own microwave cup. Room was a bit dark but plenty of lamps so OK. Great price and close to good restaurants.

The room and bathroom were clean, but the hot tub had a ring of dead skin cells at the water level that really grossed me out. I ended up finding a roll of paper towels to wipe it down since my kids were already inside. I feel like this was an unfortunate experience since everything else seemed fine and my kids really enjoyed this hotel. The game room was fun and the kids liked the pool, too. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We traveled to and from our camp home in upstate NY this summer. We stayed at the Nootka Lodge for the first time going to NY and we were so impressed we made reservations for our return trip to Maine. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We travelled with our dog and stayed in a pet friendly room. During our June and September visit the room accommodations were great. The room was clean, everything in working order and it took no time for us to fall asleep on a comfortable bed. We plan on making this our stop every year as we will return to our camp in NY. Would highly recommend.

The room was large, but poorly lit. The dark walls, floor, and ceiling require additional lighting. I suggest that the room get two uplights; one in each of two corners of the room. The refrigerator is located on the carpet making the door to the refrigerator difficult to open. I suggest that the refrigerator be raised about 3/4". The lighting in the bathroom was marginal. The shower was good. with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. We were on the lower level and could hear the people above walking around. The pool and gazebo were very nice.

I booked the room because it was just the right size for my daughter and granddaughter to share with me. The room is very spacious, offering plenty of room to have my other granddaughter and her family visit us while we were there. The room was not crowded even with the three additional family members who visited us during the day. We created some memorable moments there. The location was convenient to a restaurant and take out locations. We enjoyed it greatly. The ownly complaint - and I say that mildly - is the pillows are flat and there was no linnen for the pull out couch. I am sure if I asked they would have accommodated us, but it was late in the evening when we discovered it so we just took the bedspread off the king size bed for my granddaughter to use on the couch. All was good!

After a 12 hr. bumper-to-bumper drive from Virginia, I arrived home to find I had no water. I went to the lodge and was desperate and frazzled. They had no pet rooms available but went out of their way to accommodate me. They gave me the MOST AWESOME ROOM!!! It was absolutely spotless, large, and cozy. On my trip up from Florida (I travel this route frequently) I usually stay at Hampton Hotels. The Nootka Lodge was definitely superior! The friendliness, cleanliness, and totally modern conveniences were much more than offered at the Hilton chain. When family comes to visit me in the White Mountains, I will book them there. Exceptional at all levels!!

The room was extremely clean and spacious. This is the second time I've stayed here and recommend it to others. Lovely rustic rooms and atmosphere . Plan on future stays here as well. It is located not far from the Ice Castles and near Vermont border plus it's pet friendly which is wonderful for our family and friends

Desk chair we had in room was broke. They got us a different one from another room. It too was broke and if you sat in it if you weren't careful you'd fall over backward. We just pushed it aside. They state place is Non Smoking, yet parking lot is covered with ciggie butts. People that were next to us smoked continuous on balcony so we had to stay in room with door closed. Staff smoked under the stairs that took you to 2nd floor and that smoke drifted down the aisle. Pillows were flat. Had to buy a bathmat cause tub floor was slippery when wet. Restaurants were scarce. Only one close to Lodge was closed on Tuesdays. Pulldown shades need to be wider so the light doesn't shine thru at night. Room was clean though. Bed comfortable. There needs to be some serious updating though, like cleaning the AC units, trimming the trees that are next to the balcony for they are encroaching the view. Will not go there again.
