We have stayed here 5-6 times in the past and have found it to be a very pleasant experience each time. While it is not a luxury motel, it does provide you with a clean, quiet place and even has a motel cat which is friendly. We always get the two room suite and have been very satisfied each time. We stop at the nearby Wal*Mart and pick up some food and thus, we save from having to eat out each meal. It is centrally located for our needs too. Franconia Notch is nearby, along with the famous Lost River and the General Store in Bath, New Hampshire which is the oldest continuously operating store in the U.S.A.

The owners are friendly and are there to help in any way.

The road is super quiet and has very few cars going by which adds to its charm.

We really have nothing bad to write about this place and we will gladly stay here again.

A reasonably priced motel in a rural area of New Hampshire. It is extremely well kept and clean. They have a swimming pool which is also very attractive and well kept. There is not much available in this area of New Hampshire so we were happy to find such a nice and comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.

This motel may be rather dated, but it was clean and the location quiet. No breakfast available, but coffee in the room. The pool looked very clean. Inexpensive and offers value for money. Wifi signal poor in rooms, but okay outside. Suited us well for a one night stay.

I asked for handicap accessible and it was not. Mom could not get into the bed or into the bathroom. They actually have a handicapped son and couldn’t provide that. Really left a bad taste in my mouth…. Do better. Asked for a spoon and it was dirty. Cmon.

Place was clean! That's the first point. I had doubts because the motel only had 1 review, and it wasn't positive. But, we needed a place to stay for one night to make a pause during our travel, so we decided to try it, because of the price.

After our drive there, the man who checked us in was nice, and we went to our room. To our surprise, the room looked clean after inspection. It is old. It is not beautiful. But it's clean and the bathroom was too. We could make coffee in the room... microwave, refrigerator. Didn't get to try the pool since it was cold, but it looked ok.

We had good neighbors. Had no problem with noise. Do not hesitate to go there if you spend your time outdoor or visiting, because the price was real good if you consider spending time in the White Mountains area.

The only negative: the screen door shuts down slowly and gently, and at about 1 inch of getting closed... BANG!!!! really really loud. That was the case for our door (room 14), but we don't remember hearing it from other rooms.

This is a really NCSE (Nice-Clean-Safe-Economical) motel with a "Northern" Route 66 style/feel...really like staying in these well maintained motels...reminds be of my childhood.

The owner was a very nice, courteous and sincere lady that I really enjoyed talking to during the check-in process...she's got a really cute and friendly cat as well.

We were blessed to find this place because not only was it a very nice place to stay, it was very economical for the area and allowed us to keep in-line with our retired deep south budget.

I want to wish the owner the best for the future and to say thanks again for a great stay and visit!

It’s a small motel, yes it’s dated and the rooms not really big, but the room and bathrooms were very clean. The WiFi was a little spotty. The beds were comfortable and the staff friendly. There were guests on both sides of us, didn’t hear anything.

I booked a room here sight unseen because I was an idiot who waited too long to book a room while on a foliage road trip in the White Mountains. It had a AAA rating, so I figured it couldn't be too bad. Wrong! The room (kitchenette) was so musty and dank, I could barely breathe. The decor was appalling, no charm whatsoever. The walls were paper-thin, so thin that I could hear everything the senior couple next door was doing (I had met up with them in the office), and I mean everything -- I won't go into details. When they were done their shenanigans, I could hear them snoring. What a nightmare. I should have just slept in my car.
