The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated in the Edwardian fashion. Even the bathroom had an old fashioned sink (that worked, of course). The only complaint was that since it was on the first floor in the front our room was probably not as private as the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. The location is so ideal ...a block from... More

This B&B on Jackson Street is old school and knows how to please. My wife and I stayed with Sandy 20 years ago on one of our first visits to Cape May and recently returned to further enjoy her company and what she, Nancy and the staff have to offer. The place is clean, in the heart of the town,... More

My college roommate and her husband from Long Island met us in Cape May for a long-weekend getaway, and the value and location of our accommodations were key factors in our enjoyment of this mini vacation. It was an easy walk to the beach and to local restaurants and shops, and prices were lower than or equal to comparable bed... More

I just came back from this wonderful establishment! Perfect location and the lovely owner Miss Sandy was a pure delight! Nancy cooked great meals each morning and Rose and her daughter kept the place ship shape!! The guests were amazing also, all coming from different places just to stay at the Windward! Thanks so much for a great time in... More

Found this charming B and B just through a TA search. Did not know anyone who had stayed here but the location looked so good and the reviews were favorable. Happy to add my positive review to the long list already here. Will just throw in a few more bits of information regarding Sandy and the Windward House. Sandy is... More

This was our third visit to Windward House in Cape May, and it was (as before) absolutely fantastic. The location is absolutely ideal in Cape May: on Jackson Street, half a block from the beach, a block from Washington Square. Trust me when I tell you that this really matters - you don't realize how much unless you've spent a... More

My husband and I have been vacationing in Cape May for about 10 years. We usually always stay at a B n B. I don't know how I overlooked this wonderful Inn! We were looking to stay for one night ( not our usual 2-3). I thought it would be impossible to find in mid June as everywhere has 2... More

The front porch is shady and wide with lovely wicker seating. The interior is furnished with gorgeous old period pieces. I loved the "naked lady" gallery on the second floor hallway. Our room was very spacious and with access to the front balcony, perfect for viewing the street activity. Breakfast was great, with French toast, and eggs if desired. There... More

I recently stayed at Windward house with a friend and we had an excellent experience! The house is beautifully decorated in old Victorian style and includes a big front porch. The room was very quaint, clean, and we felt right at home with the Victorian decor and furniture. Sandy Miller is extremely sweet and helpful too. A sit down breakfast... More

My hubby and I have been staying at the Windward House in Cape May for longer than I can remember. Cape May is the most beautiful town by the sea with the best restaurants and the nicest beach on the Jersey Shore.
