We travel to Cape May, NJ every year...sometimes 2-3 times a year. We like to try different B & B's but we always return to our favorites. The Clivedon ranks among our top 3! The owners are friendly, the place is always clean and comfortable, the breakfast is special and always delicious. I get a special feeling sitting on the...

I had a great stay here with my fiance for 3 nights. Sue and Peggy are so gracious and accomodating. I really enjoyed the breakfasts here and I wished I bought one of their cookbooks. There is always something delicious baked, and the casseroles were really good. The location couldn't be better. It is 2 blocks to the beach and...

The Cliveden Inn is so beautiful, and Peggy and Susan are the most amazing hostesses. My daughter and I stayed this past week in preparation for her wedding, and we housed the bridal party and close family and friends at the Cliveden over the weekend. Peggy loves to cook and bake and made us the most fantastic gourmet breakfasts every...

The Cliveden Inn is run by two women who are most accommodating. The location is an easy walk to the beach and to the business district and restaurants. They do not normally allow children but made an exception for us since we were traveling with our seven year old granddaughter The drawbacks are: 1) they allow dogs which somehow we...

My husband and I stayed at the Cliveden Inn for a getaway without the kids. It was our first time in Cape May and we were blown away! What a gorgeous quaint Victorian town! The Cliveden is right in the heart of town and walking distance to the beach, shops, and great restaurants. The do have bikes you can borrow...

My husband & I stayed at the Cliveden for one night on a trip up the coast. Making the reservation was easy, and they were very accommodating. The actual stay was such a delight! The bed was super comfortable, and I enjoyed a long soak in a hot bath in the claw-footed tub. After a morning walk on the beach...

We just returned from Memorial Day weekend at The Cliveden Inn. We had a fantastic time while there! Miraculously, we did not hit any traffic on our way down from NYC (2 1/2 hour trip) and arrived much earlier than anticipated. We contacted The Cliveden Inn to inquire about early check in. They had our room ready within an hour...

We did not have reservations when we were heading to Cape May so chose the Cliveden Inn from a travel book we had picked up at a rest stop. We arrived later in the evening and were graciously welcomed and given a choice of two rooms. Sue and her staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. When we found they didn't...

My husband and I decided last minute to stay in Cape May this past weekend. After searching for any open B&B we came across the Cliveden Inn. Sight unseen we agreed to book a room. We were pleasantly surprised to see it's location as it is 2 or so blocks from the beach. The house was super clean and the...

Our friends invited us to join them in Cape May for the weekend, so we booked the Cliveden Inn. Location wise it is excellent - two blocks from the beach and 5-10 minute walk to Washington Street Mall. The owner and staff running the Inn are very friendly and knowledgable of the area's restaurants, activities, etc. Our room was located...
