Never stayed here before and what a great find! The owner was very pleasant and honest and runs a cute, CLEAN guesthouse. Reasonably priced to boot! Loved the big front porch that was very relaxing whether it be first thing in the morning or at the end of the day.

Really enjoyed my stay at Cooper's Guest House. The location was amazing, a block from the beach. Our hostess Sylvia was charming and could not have been more accomodating. The Guesthouse is not fancy - simple beach accommodations - just what my daughter and I wanted. It is old but immaculately clean. Big front porch with rocking chairs, secure storage... More

I had a wonderful vacation at this guest house. Sylvia in my mind, is for me, the congenial , friendly face of Cape May. I felt lucky to find anything in popular Cape May. I had a small room on the third floor with two beds. There was a separate private bathroom steps away.

Cooper's Guest House is comfortable and no-nonsense. Sylvia provides the necessary amenities in a clean, airy, homelike atmosphere. The location is prime for the beach or for shopping in the Washington Street Mall, but you are able to put the noise behind you when you return "home" to sit on the porch and relax. I came upon this gem by... More

The location is perfect for us, one block from the beach, near bicycle rentals and breakfast rests, With a refrigerator in the room we can lay in provisions and have a nice breakfast on the veranda and lunch if we prefer. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. There is... More

Two friends and I recently spent four nights at Cooper's and we all enjoyed it very much. If you rent room 1 with the king bed you have private access to the entire second story porch, which is heaven. We also rented the adjoining room 0, so there was plenty of indoor space for us as well as on the... More

My husband and I just spent four days at Coopers Guest House. We don't look for all the bells and whistles when we stay somewhere we would rather spend the money on food and entertainment. Sylvia provides a home like setting for guests. Very quiet, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean. We felt at home. We were... More

Sylvia is a wonderful hostess at this small guest house. Not a B&B; though she does provide coffee in the morning. Good location one block from beach and just a few to Washington Mall. Her prices are reasonable; in season or out. She is there if you need her but not obtrusive. One of the best in Cape May!

My son and daughter in law had their wedding in Cape May and the family stayed at the Cooper Guest House for the 3 day event. Sylvia was amazing , she let our guest get dressed at the Cooper House before the wedding. Sylvia also permitted us to have our own food on the front porch for breakfast and lunch.... More
