We've been visiting Cape May for over ten years now and one of our favorite traditions is staying at the Star Inn around the holiday season. The hotel and Congress Hall are decorated so nicely and you can't help but to get into the holiday spirit when you stay at one of their properties. We love the Star Inn (motel...

The Star is a backup accommodation for The Congress Hall, just across the street. This place need an upgrade. After being involve in a mixed reservation room (part our fault because we did not review the confirmation e-mail) the helpful Congress Hall Staff assigned us to the No. 6 The Star room (nice view, by the way), which required a...

We decided to stay in Cape May at the last minute so we called Congress Hall and they were booked. The girl on the reservation line said she could get us a room at the Star. It was a great room, very clean and comfortable. Located in a great spot in town. We can't wait to go back.

I stayed here recently for a quick "mini-cation" with my wife. When we arrived in Cape May, the annual Halloween parade was going on, and the road in front of the hotel was blocked off. We contacted the hotel and were told to park in the Valet lot at the Congress Hall, which is directly across the street from the...

A good night's rest is guaranteed in this charming cross between a Victorian B& B and a vintage 1950's style motor lodge. Comfortable beds, a soothing vibe and best of all the bright pastel colors of the walls are bound to put you in a mellow mood the minute you throw down your suitcase.

Scheduled a very last minute trip. Needed a place to accommodate 2 couples. This was one of the last bookings available under the Cape Resorts brand because of Weddings and Octoberfest. The efficiency was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. The staff was very courteous and called us before we checked in to tell us where to check in....

The Star is across the street from the wonderful Congress Hall and under the same ownership/management. It offers individual bedrooms, efficiencies and two BR/two bath carriage house accommodations. The Star truly lives up to its name by offering some of the best accommodations in Cape May. Some units have ocean views; it is a short half block walk to the...

I had a wonderful experience at The Star! The concierges were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The privileges at the pool at Congress Hall across the street were lovely. Conveniently located to restaurants, the beach, and shopping. I would definitely return!

Having stayed at Colton Court for the last few years, the Star was a big improvement! The room was comfortable, but the best part was the use of Congress Hall amenities. We had a spectacular beach day in a rented tent and enjoyed their lovely pool. We also enjoyed the food at the Blue pig. We couldn't afford to stay...
