My husband and I stayed at The Bacchus Inn for just two nights, but everything was just perfect. The upkeep and cleanliness of the inn was beyond reproach. It's conveniently located to the beach, Carpenter Lane and most of the restaurants. John is with you every step of the way, there to answer questions, there to offer advice, there to...

This is our second time staying at the Bacchus Inn. It has been a few years since we have been back and we don't know what took us so long to come back! John is such a wonderful host and we just enjoy staying at the Bacchus. It is so warm and inviting, from the lovely room that we stayed...

Can we change rooms last minute? Can you open my room at midnight, I lost my key? The water is too hot Can we stay a few more days? NO WORRIES!!!!!! There is a reason why John has a 80% return rate, he's awesome and his B&B is awesome as well. Just a couple of blocks from everything, out of...

The Bacchus Inn is two homes across Columbia Ave from each other. We stayed in the Zinfandel room - 2nd floor front in the "cottage." Pluses: - nicely furnished - especially the parlor and dining room of the main house - comfortable "sleigh" bed - Innkeeper, Barbara who was most gracious and helpful - Breakfasts - well done! - Bikes...

I hesitate to review the Bacchus because its already becoming too popular and with good reason. John and Lisa are great hosts and the Bacchus is lovely. We've stayed there for years and cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The breakfasts are great (thanks Barbara!). John hosts a wonderful happy hour with wine and cheese. He makes an awesome sangria. If...

My girlfriend and I had a fabulous time at the Bacchus Inn. From beginning to end John made us feel as comfortable as possible. We chose to stay in the Chardonnay room which offered everything we could ask for. Although this is a lower end room, it offered space, a nice size bed, and cleanliness. I can only imagine what...

There were alot of choices with so many B&Bs in Cape May but the high number a repeat guests we met confirmed our opinion of the inn-- we'll be back. John, the innkeeper, and his wife couldn't have been more helpful. The location, 2 blocks or so off the beach, is very walkable to downtown. You will want to park...

My husband and I just returned from our stay at The Bacchus Inn in Cape May. We checked out the Tripadvisor reviews before we left and found that the reviews were completely accurate. Our room was cozy and the bathroom was very spacious. John and Lisa thought of everything to make guests happy. They were very friendly and informative about...

WOW! its all I can say! I agree with a review that stated "Cape May should designate the owners John and Lisa local "national treasures" To say that they go out of their way is an understatement. Fiance and I ran into this BnB by accident. Lucky us! John and Lisa do everything to make you feel welcome, an at...
