All the big name and much more expensive B&B's and hotels were booked solid the weekend my wife and I wanted to spend a night in Cape May for our 45th anniversary. We found the Eldredge had a room available and booked it fast. The owner Todd was most accommodating over the phone booking our reservation and very helpful then... More

We made our first visit to Cape May and stayed at this fabulous B&B. Unique because it does not offer breakfast in house, but certificates that you can take to designated food establishments for breakfast. We found this to be a wonderful experience to get out and discover these places. All were within walking distance as well as all of... More

The Eldredge House is impeccable in every way! Todd is attentive and caring, the Captain's Quarter room is full of character and decorated with details that kept making me smile and finally the location is just perfect for walking around Cape May or for hopping over to Delaware (DogFish Head brewery is a must). Extra points go to: - the... More

My sister and I stayed at the charming Eldredge House (built 1780!) in April 2014. The place is quiet, exquisitely decorated and authentic in every way. Todd, the innkeeper, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and helped us plan activities in the area. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters and the place was spotless with... More

My wife and I just stayed at the Eldredge House for the fifth consecutive year, and we love coming back every time. As others have said here, Todd is simply a fantastic innkeeper and host. He is friendly, informative, goes above and beyond to help guests with their stay, and is a great guy to talk to and have a... More

We visit Cape May at least 3 times a year and we always stay at The Eldredge House. The Captain's Quarters is the largest of the 3 rooms. All rooms have a private bath, television, etc. Todd the inn keeper is always helpful about attractions and restaurants. He really has his pulse on the area and is very knowledgeable of... More

We're pretty fussy, and we think this place is perfect! The house itself is beautiful, but very comfortable, with just enough modernization for convenience. There are only three guest rooms, so it's very quiet. The area is great - close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, yet off the "main drag" in a residential area that's nice for strolling and looking... More

Lovely B&B. Todd is a kind and helpful host. He knows so much about the area and he is so easy to talk to. We were able to use towels and could have borrowed some beach chairs but we opted to bike to the beach. The Eldridge house has a great location and we didn't need to use our car... More

Great B&B! Very friendly owner, great price and beautiful rooms. Todd offered us to use his beach chairs and beach towels. Cape May is a beautiful little town near the ocean. You can watch dolphins play just by walking along the shore.

The Eldredge house is a small B&B in West Cape May. Todd, the owner/manager, was extremely helpful and attentive to things that we asked for. The house is quite old, but really nicely decorated. It was especially nice being here just after Christmas when the house was decorated with Christmas things and it had a really pleasant atmosphere. There are... More
