A unique, originally 19th century transported property, with some ocean view rooms. The rooms weren't the cleanest, but the decor and ambiance does take one back to the Victorian era. Room sizes can be really small (100-200 sq ft) or average size of 200-300 sq ft. The breakfast and tea and happy hour fare was ok. It's hard to find...

Thanks for the feedback: We have 27 rooms of which 15 are kings of 250-400+ square feet. Our 2 smallest queen rooms are 150sqft and are described as "petite" and "our smallest". The other queens are somewhere in the 200-250sqft range. You can view the pictures online before booking. We have 5 experienced dedicated housekeepers who do a fantastic job....

This is our fifth year at Angel. We felt that this year, the breakfast, afternoon tea, wine and cheese, were excellent. Everything has been wonderful through the years, but exceptionally improved in 2016. We now have a new favorite room, the Fireside, which we already booked for 2017.

Had the true pleasure of staying at Angel of the Sea just recently, it most certainly will be a return trip in the future! We checked in, very polite and helpful staff made sure we were comfortable. We stayed in room #12, which probably has one of the better views of the ocean & is extremely well appointed for a...

Thank Scotte915, Yes the Sherry poached eggs are very popular when we offer them. We always offer 3 choices of a hot entree to accompany the fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, hot baked fruit etc... - and some of our choices are customizable making the number of breakfast entree choices even more than 3. I hope you had a chance to...

I stayed twice at The Angel of the Sea and each time has been memorable, I can't wait to go back. The friendly staff, the adorable rooms, the generous portions of food that they served during breakfast, the amazing wine selection and meats/cheese platters that they provide during their wine time....it 's just perfect! Don't bother going anywhere else.

Thank you Maria for returning and for bringing Dante!! Your generosity is inspiring. You both made our weekend and many other guests weekend more memorable with the very special treat (which I will not detail except to say that I will be following the recipe and I have plenty of fresh mint in the herb garden). My husband and I have stayed at several B&B's in Cape May over the years but Angel of the Sea was by far the best B&B we have stayed at in Cape May. The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, laid back but tentative and made you feel so at home. We had dinner reservations at various restaurants for each night...

Thanks Sharon & Jimmy!! We're so glad you found us and that you enjoyed the experience. I must mention (for the benefit of future first-time guests reading this wonderful review) that dinner is not part of our offering. We serve breakfast, afternoon tea and evening wine and cheese. Truly one of best adventures and weekends I've got to experience. Angel of the Sea offers a great selection of rooms that have their own style and theme. We stayed in room 20 and it was excellent. The room is clean and cozy. The new owners are very hospitable and they are always around if you need anything they provide you in minute. Second : They clean the room twice a day so if you go out and you come your room is clean and fresh again.
