We spent 3 nights at the Humphrey Hughes House just before 4th of July, a gorgeous Victorian in the heart of Cape May. It is perfectly located, only 1/2 block from the beach and walkable to all the main restaurants and sights. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't get into it again until we left. The room...

Booking this hotel is very easy. I spoke directly with the owner and we booked quickly. When we arrived we were led around by one of the employees. I loved all the people who worked there from the owners to the young woman who served us every morning . Lorraine who owns the b/b with her husband Terry is an...

We return here year after year to celebrate my birthday. We've stayed at other B&B's before and nothing compares to the Humphrey Hughes house when it comes to value, amenities, and convenience to just about anything you can want to see or do in Cape May. The atmosphere is relaxing, beautiful, and the owners are exceptionally good at making you...

This is our third trip to Cape May and our first stay at the Humphrey Hughes House. We booked at the last minute and the only room available was the Brass Room on the third floor. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this third floor room was spacious, had two wing chairs with plenty of lighting for reading, a...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Humphrey Hughes House for 4 nights and it was wonderful. We stayed for the Fourth of July weekend, and although the town was completely packed, you wouldn't know it by the calm atmosphere at the house. We chose the Dragon Fly room, which was perfect - it was roomy with a big...

We would like to tell travelers that this Bed and Breakfast was exceptional. From the time we arrived until the time we left we always felt like we were at home. Even if our furnishings were a bit older than us! The innkeepers, Terry and Lorraine, were very helpful and kind. If you needed anything they helped you out. If...

The HHH has delivered exceptional experiences through their hospitable services during all of our many stays. Not only does the Victorian decor fit perfectly to Cape May's historical nature, but the Inn overall is so well kept and maintained in the cleanest manner. Each breakfast at the HHH is just as delicious as the last; from the stuffed french toast...
