I did a girlfriend's getaway to Cape May last week and it is still a wonderful place to visit. I stayed at Congress Hall again, as I have so many times in the past, and it is still the best place in Cape May to stay. The staff was incredible, the food very good, the hotel room was great. You...

Had a great time visiting Congress Hall for my boyfriend's bday! The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is they put us in a room on the 2nd floor on our first night. The noise level from the brown room pianist, wedding party and valet parking outside was through the roof! Thankfully they moved us...

Normally we like small, contemporary boutique hotels. This is not any of those, by a long shot. But Congress Hall commands a beautiful almost beachfront (across Beach Ave from the sand) location, with lovely views, charm & a great history. We were there at the end of Oct, so I can't comment of pool or beach setup, but I'm sure...

Congress hall is amazing! So many little characteristics that modern hotels just do not have. Uneven floors, shutters on room doors and interior windows, all toiletries from beach plum farm which they also own, heavyweight towels, washcloths, custom heavyweight bed linens, creaky doors, piano entertainment, fireplaces to relax by, etc. The valet service was fantastic and every staff member has...

Could not believe the difference in housekeeping in one year. Dirty dishes accumulated on night stand day after day. Toilet paper found in toilet after room was cleaned. Water bottles were never replenished in 3 nights. Beth room amenities were never replaced after consumption. No shower cap. Handicapped room did not have an ADA compliant toilet, nor a desk, vanity,...

I had previously been in the Cape May area on business , stayed at the least expensive place I could find. That said I was so fortunate to find the Congress Hall. I absolutely loved the decor as I own an antique house. The hotel matched my tastes and style. Sent a picture of the room to my wife, now...

My husband and I got a superb deal only available Sunday to Thursday. We had ideal weather for this time of year and had a wonderful time. We went on a whale and dolphin cruise and saw loads of dolphins. We had delicious meals at the Blue Pig. I went to a great yoga class across the street. We strolled...

We were travelling to Cape May without any reservations for a hotel room and by chance we booked a room at Congress Hall thru a third party site for what we considered a great price. We couldn't have been happier as both of us love historic hotels. And we were not disappointed. We had a lovely, comfortable room with plenty...

I wanted to get a good night sleep before a 3 hrs drive home but thanks to the front desk, I did not. Got to bed late , I expected to sleep in, but thanks to Michael of the front desk that was cut short to 745 am. Seems I parked my car in the wrong lot and it got...

My husband I were attending a wedding at the Willow Creek Vineyard (beautiful!) last Saturday night and stayed at Congress Hall. The valet immediately attended to us when we pulled up - loved that we didn't have to wait. Our room was a dream with a balcony and view of the ocean/pool. The cost was a bit pricey (over $500)...
