We assembled a few couples and young kids for a weekend stay. The vibe and energy at Congress Hall was high and the Christmas decor and celebrations in the hotel and the shopping district a block down the street wonderful. Cape May and Congress Hall showed well. The weekend succeeded in being great for both kids and adults. Congress Hall...

Our second stay at Congress Hall for the Thanksgiving holiday. If you prefer the glitz and shine or modern hotels perhaps this isn't the hotel for you. Congress Hall has a long, rich history and we find the fact that it is an old hotel very appealing. Of course, the plumbing is modern but the floors are all uneven and...

This hotel is just beautiful. During Christmas time it is a winter wonderland complete with a 1,000 things to do with the little ones and a nice cozy fireplace to settle in and have drinks for the adults. Dinner at the Blue Pig is always good and the pub is always crowded but expected this time of year. The hotel...

Our children gave an overnight stay at "Congress Hall", including dinner for our birthdays. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We had dinner(excellent) in front of the fireplace. The bar area was jumping and they had a beautiful Christmas Tree in the room where some people were singing Christmas carols.

We did not stay at the Congress Hall when we visited over Thanksgiving, but it looked like a very happening place and a place we might stay at in the future. What was super was that they have the front lawn decorated for the holiday season as a Winter Wonderland. They have a beautiful Carousel for the children to enjoy...

Stayed here for a conference for two nights and found the area to be lovely. The hotel itself is nice but it's old, plain and simple. The windows in my room would not close all the way so I heard the wind and waves all night (which was fine). The floors in the room, entry hall and bathroom were all...

Congress hall does it right. Modern amenities with historic feel. Rooms spacious. Staff impeccable. Obviously staff well trained and care about their jobs and your stay. Little things make big difference like real fireplace in lobby bar and restuarants. Everything you could need right there.

We usually travel to Wildwood in the summer and spend a day in Cape May. We've been in Congress Hall many times, but we've never stayed. Two years ago, my wife and I came down after Thanksgiving, but couldn't get a room there. So we stayed at The Virginia, one of their sister properties. This time we were able to...

My husband and I stayed over for one night in the off season. Their rates aren't low, but it is a charming, old grand hotel that you will enjoy staying in. The location is ideal as it's right across from the beach and a shopping area with restaurants. There's a restaurant on site, along with a bar, jazz style club...

Really enjoying our thanksgiving holiday here. We are people that appreciate history and service. This is not a Philadelphia hotel it is an upscale bed and breakfast and it is a perfect blend. Spa/ fitness room and wonderful pseudo starbucks. It is November and someone was cleaning the outdoor pool. Great location. Parking is limited. The rooms need a bit...
