This is an old hotel across from the winery with classic charm. Beautiful grand entrance with rustic and classic Tuscan style charm. Rooms are large. We had one with 2 queen beds. I went with my sister as a getaway for long 4 day weekend. We spent 2 days here. The first day we arrived at 2 and went to... More

Front desk staff polite. They were the only people we saw.Did not see any other guests.Hotel clean but outdated.Lights were not even on in back of hotel where we were.Shampoo and conditioner bottles were only given one night.Lady in winery so rude we went to our room, packed and left a day early. No one even asked why.No coffee maker or microwave or... Place could be great, but is lacking maintenance and upgrades. Buckets in hallway catching roof leaks. The staff is great, but financial investment seems to be lacking in the facilities. The restaurant is the only saving grace, nice menu and good service. Off the beaten track so not a lot to do nearby and certainly nothing except golf and winery... More

Great food, in a fantastic setting. The restaurant is in the winery complex, so if you eat outside, you are dining with a view of the vineyards and winery. And if you eat inside you are eating in what you expect from a classy European winery based restaurant. Service is excellent as is the food.

This hotel is a little secluded so if you need conveniences closer than a 10-20 minute drive this may not work for you. The staff was very friendly and we were allowed to check in early. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. The place is dated but clean. I didn't mind the dated atmosphere but it made me sad... More

Wonderful getaway. The staff could not have been more accommodative. The room was spacious. The grounds were nicely manicured. Joseph's Restaurant is next door and the winery and the winery restaurant is right across the street. A nice links styles golf course is also part of the grounds.

The room is very large and clean. The decor could be updated a bit but it's kind of kitschy. The lobby and restaurant are lovely, and the food was excellent. We walked over the winery to do a tour & tasting while waiting for our room to be ready. It's really a great place for a romantic getaway!

This place is a little off the beaten path, in fact, it is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel lobby is gaudy and not very appealing. The rooms need to be upgraded, old carpeting, old TVs, old everything. Poor cell service an wifi connections. That being said the food at Joseph's was very good, but the interior of the... More

Checked in for a two night stay to attend a family wedding. I was surprised to have to pay in full upon check-in. Improvement #1 would be for the front desk workers to wear business attire. Improvement #2 would be for the entire staff to be have better people skills. This is a hotel, not a motel after all. Who... More

My husband and I needed a quick getaway and Tuscany House didn't disappoint. The room was spacious and clean. The property was well maintained and the staff was very nice. The bartender, Rich made some delicious cocktails. The home made pasta was impressive. THe wine tasting being across the street may have been the reason for this to be more... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nearly a century and a half old, Renault Winery is a recognized New Jersey State Historical site and one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the United States. Like a fine varietal, the winery has continued to grow, develop and improve with age. Today, Joseph Milza, a former newspaper owner and publisher, owns and operates the winery and vineyards with his family. Under his direction, the winery has thrived and become one of the most popular tourist attractions in New Jersey and a favorite of local residents.~Renault Winery ~ Tuscany House Hotel ~ Joseph's Restaurant ~ Vineyard Golf Course ~ Renault Gourmet Restaurant ~ Wedding ~ Banquets ~ Corporate Meetings ~ Award Winning Wines ~ Gift Shop ~ Tours & Tasting~ ... more   less
