I love this little hotel in Jersey City! It is so close to NYC and the PATH train is about a 5-10 minute walk away and runs 24 hours to east village and Manhattan. The staff are so friendly and helpful at all times of the day/night. The complimentary breakfast is fresh from Calandra bakery daily which includes bagels, croissants,...

My second stay at the Holland Hotel to visit New York City. Very reasonably priced hotel with easy access to the Path train to NYC. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast and snacks are included. Parking is included! Staff is wonderful! I cannot say enough kind things about the courtesy, friendliness and helpfulness of Andrea, Karen and Kimberly. They...

A small, simple, inexpensive, comfortable hotel with easy access to Manhattan via the Path subway route. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who's on a budget, but wants better than what they paid for. Not many places around NYC are below $150, and include parking, breakfast, and WiFi. The renovations to the place made it much more comfortable. I had...

I would highly recommend this little hotel. Located at the mouth of the Holland Tunnel into Manhattan it is quiet and convenient. We stayed three nights. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice breakfast assortment of pastries, breads, juices, cereal, and, of course, coffee. Free parking is a great bonus.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. My wife and I stayed there 4 nights and were very pleased. First of all, the location is great--a stone's throw from the Holland Tunnel which empties into Lower Manhattan. It is not your luxury resort--if you are looking for that, look elsewhere. But the place offers excellent accommodations. Our room was good...

Had a conference at the Marriott in Jersey City but $320...or even $220 a night was out of the question for budget. Looked online and found The Holland Hotel. The pictures scared me a little and the budget price made me think that you get what you pay for.. Well part was true... I didn't want frills...I just wanted a...

We've stayed here twice over the past two summers and had a very positive experience both times. We like the location as it offers free parking with the option to leave you car for an extended period and is about a 10 minute walk to the Newport PATH train station for convenient, quick access to NYC. Overall the hotel and...

Had to be in Union City, NJ for a one day business meeting and was looking for a reasonably priced and conveniently located place to stay. The Holland Hotel ended up being perfect for this trip. I stayed in a 2nd floor room facing the main road/Holland Tunnel entrance and it was clean and quiet and I found the bed...

Good points about this hotel: 1) Free parking 2) Very close to New York city 3) Rooms & Bathrooms are spacious and clean 4) Friendly and helpful staff Negative Points: 1) We were given a basement room which was really suffocating and stinky, it had weird smell. May be as it was near to the Hotel's laundry room 2) At...
