Easy to get to the city, just a few blocks to the PATH train. Free parking. Clean room, refrigerator, tv. Friendly. Nice continental breakfast and plenty of coffee! What more could you ask for? Will definitely stay here again.

Grew up in Jersey City and never thought I would stay in a hotel by the Holland Tunnel. Well, this place turned out to be a great find. Reasonable, clean, friendly staff and baked goods for breakfast from one of New Jersey's premier bakeries. Stayed for four nights and couldn't have been better. Close to downtown Jersey City, Path trains...

Let me start by saying this--this was one of nicest, cleanest, friendliest, wonderful hotels I have ever stayed in. My daughter's 13th birthday wish was a trip to NYC and, having never been to the Big Apple (and being someone who spends hours upon hours researching before making a decision), we decided on the Holland Hotel firstly because of its...

We read the reviews prior to booking and were hesitant, but the price was right online. Pay more and stay somewhere else! There is no elevator which means you have to lug your luggage upstairs. The entire place is loud. The traffic isn't even a factor considering how close the doors are and all the constant slamming. The staff complained...

I read the TripAdvisor comments before booking. I was a bit turned off by one of the picture showing an outdated floral bedcover but then I saw they had refreshed the rooms a bit so I booked as we were looking for a free parking and a sleeping spot close to PATH. When we got there with my 3 teens,...

My room was clean, bed comfortable, room quiet! I felt safe and enjoyed my stay. Close to the Mall and Shoprite and plenty of places to eat and shop. Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful! I would definitely stay here anytime!

Goal: Find a low priced hotel with easy access to NYC. The Holland Hotel is located next to the entrance of the Holland Tunnel. I have never stayed at any other Jersey City hotels so I cannot compare this to other locations. However, we were able to walk (5min) to the Newport PATH Train stop. This train will take you...

I travelled with DW and 3 kids ( 11,7,3 ). The price was decent to accommodate us all in the same run with a rollaway bed. I was driving and the free parking was great. Nice and easy drive thru the tunnel every day ( use app or be a early bird to pay a decent amount to park in...

We stayed here while visiting NYC. We didn't want to stay in the city so we choose this hotel. The location was conveniently located near the PATH station. The hotel is old but has been updated. The room was smallish but we really only slept here so it wasn't too bad. The continental breakfast was very basic and in a...
