Pity we only stayed for four nights. Great hosts, great place. Annettes cooking was fabulous and so well presented by Mike. Ideal location for exploring the Midi Pyrenees for motorcyclists and cyclists. Safe parking for both in the grounds. Kath and Dave

Mike and Annette are the perfect hosts they could not do enough for us. Mike arranged our walks, which were outstanding. The weather was brilliant which I’m sure he organised too!! Annette’s cooking was perfection with such attention to detail. I know this is full of superlatives but we mean every one. Annette and Mike deserve all the success they...

I have just returned from Villa Portillon today after spending five days there - the attention to detail shown by Mike and Annette Jones is second to none. Villa Portillon is an oasis of serenity, comfort and kindness in the delightful town of Luchon. Mike and Annette are welcoming and friendly hosts, Annette cooks the most delicious food. They really...

We just spent a very lovely night at the Villa Portillon. First, while it's very centrally located just off the main street of town, it's like it's own little oasis, complete with a very pretty little garden and fountain. The rooms were impeccably clean and pleasant. The hosts were thoughtful and helpful. Our breakfast this morning was very nice, with...

Luchon was the perfect base for excellent cycling and although we only stayed for 5 days we could have easily stayed longer. Villa portillon itself was a charming place to stay. Mike and Annette were both very knowledgable of the area and gave us great advice for our rides. The food at the villa was superb and the breakfast really...

From the moment we arrived we felt at home and our hosts Annette and Mike ensured that our cycling break went smoothly. A perfect location, calm and peaceful yet...

We stayed with Mike and Annette in January this year and had one of the best ski-ing holidays ever. The villa is beautiful and very centrally situated, yet really quiet. The rooms were very comfortable. We were impressed by the way Mike helped organise our ski-hire and acted as ski-guide on the first day. We also liked the fact that...

Many thanks to Mike and Annette for their wonderful hospitality - the food was amazing, as was the skiing (no queues and masses of snow). A great find, and will definitely be back!

We stayed for a week's skiing with friends and really enjoyed ourselves. The weather and the skiing were great and Mike's help as a guide on the slopes was very useful in getting to know our way around. Annette's cooking was wonderful - she is a very talented cook; and the way she and Mike looked after us was really...

Early morning, standing at the bathroom sink looking up at the snowy mountains and clear blue skies. I opened the casement window and a crisp breeze refreshed my damp face. Aaahh, another perfect day begins in the awesome Pyrenees. Mike and Annettes' excellent hospitality, their superb attention to detail, sympathetic guiding on the slopes, charming house and delicious cooking made...
