This was our third time at the Wooden Duck! It is always an excellent experience. The hosts are very friendly and the food is terrific. The area offers great trails to hike and the nearest town has nice antique shops. The Wooden Duck is very clean and quiet. We highly recommend it!

The owners/inkeepers are such nice people. The breakfasts are a delicious highlight. We like to hike, so the Inn's proximity to the Kittatinny Ridge and the Appalachian Trail makes its location ideal. Excellent dinners can be had near by at Andre's, Krave and Restaurant Latour. We really like the Canvasback Room because it is spacious, on the second floor and...

I was very pleased with our room - ample-sized, wonderful bed linens, extremely clean. Breakfast was a very light quiche while bird-watching; a gentle, delicious way to start the day. Some of the decor is a little dated, but not worn. I went for a walk down the lane in the afternoon sun and it was magical. We will return.

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful days and nights at the the Wooden Duck. We wanted to find a quiet relaxing place to stay while visiting northern New Jersey to hike in the woods and view the foliage. The Wooden Duck exceeded our expectations! The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious. I recommend the Wooden Duck...

We had never stayed at a B&B when we planned our trip to New Jersey's skylands region. After searching through many of the available hotels, we discovered that a B&B cost about the same and offered a nicer experience, including a real home-cooked breakfast. Now, some hotels do offer breakfast, but it's a far cry from the delightful, multiple-course concoctions...

This was our first time staying at a B&B, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The air was crisp, the leaves were starting to change, and we were greeted by a curious family of deer on the front lawn when we arrived; a picture perfect introduction to our stay at this cozy, private, and very welcoming...

On an emergency basis I needed to be in the Newton//Andover NJ area. All of the regular hotels were sold out. How fortunate for me. The Wooden Duck had availability. The experience was incrdible. The owners, beth and Carl, are warm, friendly and very acomodating. The Inn is in spectacular shape, the room (a Delux) was wonderfuly furnished and the...

It is always nice to find a bed and breakfast that you find all the elements work in harmony. This is one! Lovely hosts who have travelled the world and know how to treat their guests. Our room had a double sided fireplace, very comfortable bed and all the amenities you need. Breakfast-bananas foster sans rum, broccoli quiche and much...

We have stayed at many B&B's and we prefer them to conventional hotels/motels. The Wooden Duck is our favorite because we really enjoy the warm hospitality of the inkeepers, the breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and the inn is spotlessly clean. The common areas are warm and inviting and you always feel right at home. We can't wait to go back...
