We stayed at your establishment for a wedding and it was absolutely beautiful we felt very safe due to COVID-19. Everything was clean and I would definitely come back. We were only there one night because it was a wedding but I would have loved to stay longer.
The Embassy Suites hotel in Parsippany NJ was beautiful. I was welcomed immediately and from than ob was treated by name. Many rooms to choose from and I felt assured that everything was sanitized often.
It was a nice hotel. The room, although a bit outdated, was pretty clean. There was some chewed gum and a beer bottle cap laying around. The double beds were comfortable, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The evening drink and snacks was a nice addition. The morning breakfast was ok. Nothing exceptional. There could have been more options. The reason I gave such a low rating is because of the horrible experience I had with housekeeping. The housekeeping lady was the most nastiest and rudest one I have encountered in all of my hotel stays throughout my lifetime. On Friday morning I called the front desk to request room cleaning. They said they would send the housekeeper soon. I had to run to the pharmacy, so I left my brothers in the room and left. When I came back, my brothers told me the lady came to clean. I noticed that the room wasn’t fully cleaned. The floor was very dirty and half the garbage was left there. So I called the front desk to ask if vacuuming was part of the cleaning process. They said that vacuuming should have been done and that they will send the housekeeper again to do it. A few minutes later when I was in the bathroom, I heard someone banging on the door. Before my brothers could open the door, the lady opened the door and came in. She started screaming at my brothers and asking who called the front desk. I came out and asked why she’s screaming. She continued to scream and asked why we called the front desk. She said we should not have called the front desk and that we should have gone looking for her instead. I said I didn’t call the front desk to complain. I just called to ask if it was possible to get the floor vacuumed. She started saying something in Hindi (I’m Indian and she’s Indian, but I don’t know Hindi). I told her I don’t understand. She mocked me and asked why I suddenly don’t know how to speak Hindi. I told her I have no need to lie to her. If I knew Hindi, I would have answered her in Hindi for whatever she said. She spoke as if I was lying to her. This really made me angry. I told her that I didn’t even complain about her to the front desk the first time, but now I will. There’s no need for me to listen to someone shouting for no reason. She kept mumbling. She didn’t even say sorry for what she did. So I went and told the receptionist exactly what happened. She told me that she would let the manager know. I was extremely disappointed with this incident. Firstly, I was disappointed by what happened. Also, I was disappointed that the staff didn’t even do anything about it. They didn’t even get back to me about it. This incident ruined my otherwise satisfactory stay. …
This was an absolutely stunning Embassy hotel. The staff were so nice and the hotel was very clean. I would absolutely stay there again. It feels like a resort when you walk in. I just wanted to stay in the downstairs and read a book.
Its a large property with plenty of features and good restaurants in the area. Rooms are looking "tired" and it desperately needs an Embassy Suites update. Management is taking good precautions against COVID-19 risks.
