Rooms were OK. Dated and old but clean. Big issue was that oceanfront first floor has no view of the ocean. Just the sand dunes. We paid a premium for oceanfront and felt we were misled. We will not return.

Can't beat a beachfront location, and the Drifting Sands has one of the best. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. Front desk service was friendly and helpful, and complimentary beach badges are a great plus.

you'll have to contact the hotel. about the availability, they don't usually offer a room for just one night in LBI as almost all hotels have a 2 night min but ask. There is no safe in the room and the coffee they had was a little 4 cup maker with the common hotel coffee, it was not the kind you looked forward to drinking but i needed it anyway. There is a 7/11a block down the street that has good coffee.
