The Anaula nature resort is run by a very efficient, nice staff. You can stay from 2 nights upwards. When your travel agent knows about only the two day option push a little bit further or contact the resort directly! The cabins are very nice, spacious with beautiful views of the river. The cabins are far enough apart to have...

Travelling a lot, but the reviews for this place does not meet what you find here. Many Suriname lodges are much better than this one although this one is even better accessable. - very basic accommodation, no luxury. Many things dirty, run down or not working in the rooms - surroundings of cabins dirty where the staff stays - behind...

Anaula was a wonderful experience. My three year old was perfectly safe and happy at this resort. The swimming pool was out of commission while we were there, but no one in the family minded, due to the spot we found in the river where we could sit for hours. The tours organized by the resort are a bit much...

We spent three days on this small island which is very relaxing although we were lucky to only have a small number of people on the island the time we visited. I feel that with up to the 50 people they can take it would have become a very different experience. The program of activities is fixed and doesn't allow...

Fantastic stay. Awesome people. Great food. Legendary trip. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay 5 days in stead of 3... We did Krokodile spotting, piranha fishing, and swimming in a waterfall. Thanks team Anaula!

As nature become main attraction here in the region so perhaps we have to use different prespective, located in the remote area of Suriname rainforest and approaching takes 45 minutes by local wooden boats became other kind of experience that I might have.

Spent 2 nights here, 20 people in total 17 of whom were Dutch speaking as are the local guides so it was helpful to have an English speaking guide with us. There seems to be a set, rotating group activity programme: nature walk around the property, swimming in local rapids, night boat ride to look for caiman, evening drumming performance...

Anaula was a nice, short exposure to life in the interior. A three hour bus ride followed by a one hour boat trip to reach the resort. Be sure to wear a hat for the boat trip. It is in the heat of the day. Accommodations are adequate. Food was plentiful and tasty. Bring a book to read at night or...

My friends and I wanted to go to interior, but we didn't have much time and the holidays (New Years) were coming up, so we didn't have a lot of choice. But Anaula was a great choice. the trip to the resort which is on a tiny island is long and tiring. it's about 3 hours by bus and then...
