My husband and I came for one night and stayed in the Harmony Suite. I can not say enough about the beautiful decor and attention to detail of the entire inn. Our room was not only beautiful but spotless and the fireplace and jacuzzi made it so special. Ros was a great hostess and great cook. We will definitely be...

Room was clean and tidy, warm and comfortable. Really enjoyed the added heat and ambiance of the electric fireplace. Coffee and tea, cookies and brownies welcomed us upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious and ample, with many choices; we enjoyed the special pumpkin waffles. Charming and inviting interior. A large wrap-around porch leads to well-kept grounds; both provide plenty of additional...

We stayed at the Whistling Swan for two nights. This is one beautiful B&B that is nicely maintained. Our room (Tranquility) was quiet and clean. We enjoyed the little electric stove that warmed us up nicely, along with our own thermostat. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had nice towels, nicely orange scented toiletries, and great water pressure. Loved the...

My husband and I wanted to get away for Thanksgiving this year and I remembered hearing of the Whistling Swan Inn in Stanhope NJ. We were delightfully surprised to discover that they had availability, even though we'd waited til only a few weeks before Thanksgiving to book a room. We selected the Waterloo Village room which had a gas fireplace,...

All rooms I looked at were romantic and classy. There were fluffy robes and towels and the owners and staff were very accomodating. Our room had two seperate bathrooms- one with a large jacquizzi and the other with a shower. Everything was plush, charming and first class- brand new, beautiful bathrooms, plush robe and towels, etc. The owners and staff were...

My wife and I just stayed at this lovely B&B for a single overnight. But, we truly enjoyed our time there. We only met one of the two innkeepers (Ros), but she was friendly, had some great recommendations for a local restaurant. Ros was an excellent host for our getaway. We stayed in the Walnut Valley Suite which was spacious...

This was a last minute romantic getaway. When I called tom the owner was very personable and pleasant, but when we got there not so much. When we checked in he just about walked us to our room and then his cell phone rang and he kinda left us standing in the doorway and we didn't see him again until...

We strive to consistently exceed customer expectations, and we're sorry your experience at the Whistling Swan was disappointing. Thank you for the feedback on the mattress in the Waterloo Village room. We rely on customers' candor to ensure that our rooms are of the highest standard. It was not Tom's intention to treat you in an impersonal manner, however he...

This lovely Bed & Breakfast Inn, is tucked away in the quiet hills of Sussex County in northern New Jersey. On a recent visit with a long-lost cousin, my hubby and I booked The Whistling Swan Inn. It was perfect! Owners Tom and Roz Bruno have taken the time to make the Inn comfortable and welcoming, from the guest's point...

We like to stay in Select Registry Bed & Breakfasts because they have a standard you can trust. This one was in a proximity that met our needs, only an hours drive to New York City. Stanhope is smalltown USA. Very quaint and quiet town. The Victorian charm is still present both inside and out in this elegantly restored 1905...

We stayed in the Whistling Swan for two nights in mid October. This is the third B & B we have tried in NJ and so far the best. An large, old house, but meticulously maintained and beautifully furnished. Roz and Tom were great hosts, and we will definitely be returning. Rich and Carol, NJ
