Room (#518) was very clean, modern, well kept, and cozy. The owners were very nice, accommodating, and you can tell they take pride in the condo. Unfortunately the unit is in a low class hotel. While the pool was nice, it was difficult to enjoy it with all the misbehaving children in it. The majority of the guest were loud...

Our room was privately owned and very nice. Well kept and newly renovated. The location and rest of the hotel was ok but the clientele is questionable. It seems like a Section 8 housing hotel. A lot of children running around unattended acting inappropriate (especially in the pool while their parents were there but not disciplining them) and playing on...

We stayed at Diplomat last week and the experience was a nighmere. This place is beyond deplorable. When we arrived we were given room 122 and prior to bringing our things in, I checked the bedding for signs of insect life...well I found two bedbug carcasses. Just nasty. We went to inform the front desk where one person looked at...

Extremely small, not enough room in front room for two adults and two children... Very outdated and dirty, I would suggest keeping something on your feet at ALL times. Ice machine was inop, and there was a family reunion eating and playing music right outside pool area that you had to walk through to access pool (which was small and...

I would not recommend this property to anyone staying in Wildwood NJ. The website never mentions that each suite is individually owner, just that room decor varies from room to room. We stayed for 4 nights in August 2016. When we first checked in we were given room 117 which was so rundown and outdated (furniture was at lesst 20...

Our first trip to Wildwood, NJ was back in 2012. Since then, we have been going there every years and have been staying at the Diplomat Suites. The front desk has been gradually improving. I remember when we first came in 2012, they were not too welcoming, and every year that has been passing, I must say they all now...

You play roulette with this place. We went for a dance competition with many families. Some families got decent enough rooms but others had very old run down rooms. The first floor had toilet water leaks all through them one night. Not a fan of the Jersey shore at all. There aren't enough places to feel clean and comfortable. The...

After looking for months for a place to stay finally decided to take a chance with Diplomat and was glad I did. We had a room on the 5th floor and the hotel was pretty busy everyone there for a competition but once in the room we really could not hear any noise. The suites were a comfortable size for...

The Diplomat by far is the most family friendly place in Wildwood. My kids will only stay here. The sundeck and pool is gorgeous! You cant beat location to boardwalk! The room has a great terrace that overlooks the pool. The price is very affordable because we are on a budget... I like the fact they are family friendly because a...

I booked this trip hastily when I realized I was running out of summer. Everyday I was there I walked to the boardwalk and out to dinner. It was a very quick trip and I enjoyed myself. In fact, I had so much fun I forgot to visit the pool.
