stayed here last summer , was the 2nd time in wildwood crest. Rooms were spacious, nothing fancy but then again you are at the Jersey Shore. But the room was very clean and cleaned every day, had a great view overlooking the pools/ocean. Parking a little difficult but that is the majority of hotels in the area. Pools were great,...

We held the Dickstein Family Reunion there in July. All Dickstein's had a great time. My brother Joe's wife Arl. couldn't make reservations till the last minute because she works as a dental hygienist, but she was able to call and get a last minute cancellation. So... I don't understand the rude comment references made by others--the lady who answered...

My family and I have been staying at the Bal Harbour since I was a little tyke. Fast forward 22 years and I myself am working for Hyatt hotels as a food and beverage manager. I have come to find that the majority of people complain just for the sake of doing so. My hotel has a four star rating...

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Bal Harbour. Everything was well-kept and clean. Pools were kept nicely. Right on the beach with a terrific view of the ocean. Staff was professional and friendly. Enjoyed our meals in the restaurant and even the gift shop had reasonable prices. Did not use the arcade room but there seemed...

Our experience so far is disappointing to say the least. The hotel staff is super rude and uninterested in offering any kind of good customer service. The hotel is moist, old and run down. The sliding door to our balcony didn't lock and I was told there was no locking bar and I shouldn't worry, the 3rd floor balcony didn't...

Management response:

This guest had oceanfront front accomodations. Hot and sunny every day of their vacation. Our linens are clean and comfortable. Our sliding doors work. Our lamps are not broken and our staff is very accomodating. Please set the record straight the hotel is in top shape.

This hotel is needs a renovation. The thermostat was broken and the room temperature never was lower than 80 degrees. The towels were damp and so was the carpet, the fan circulated warm humid air. The front desk lied about the repair man who fixed the backed up tub and the 2 sinks. He said he knew nothing about fixing...

Management response:

As Churchill once stated " A lie can travel half way around the world before the truth can put its pants on". This reviewers claim is bogus.

This was our second year staying at the Bal Harbour. Our room was ready before check in time and it was very clean. We stayed during July 4th week and the hotel was booked (very busy time to go to Wildwood - people everywhere). Parking is a bit tight (most area hotels have the same problem). The hotel is located...

We had a great stay the week of July 1 to July 6. The hotel was clean and the room was clean. The AC worked great and the water pressure was outstanding . For the most part, the front desk personnel were very helpful and polite. The house keeping staff was even more polite. The pools were clean and well...

We have been going to Wildwood Crest every summer for 42 years. Our normal hotel was getting old and run down, so we thought we would try the Bal Harbour. What a great move. The hotel was very nice. We had connecting rooms on the top floor with a great view of the ocean. The private balconies were a great...

Just returned from a 3 day 2 night stay in Wildwood. My family and I stayed here last year and LOVED it, especially with the breakfast vouchers. However this year we booked at another hotel due to timing and the offers available---BIG MISTAKE!! After fighting with the owner of the initial hotel we promptly went to Bal Harbour where we...
