Every time I stay at the Bristol I get a sinus and or respiratory infection. I finally put 2 and 2 together and realized it is the mold. All of the rooms are mold infested. The staff is very nice and the location is perfect...More
We have stayed at the Bristol Plaza Motel 4 times now (5 after October). The location is great: far enough down on the beach to avoid crowds, yet close enough to walk to the boardwalk if you are even in modest shape. We always go...More
Overall, we were pleased with our accommodations and the price we paid. We stayed the week before Labor Day, leaving the Friday of Labor Day weekend, as the prices dropped $50 a night from the previous week. We stayed in a type C room.
Do not stay at this hotel! Rated at 3-stars, you expect to have accommodations similar to that of a Best Western or Holiday Inn - well this motel made those look like the Ritz Carlton. It was awful, from the cracks in the walls, to...More

The pool closes by 9 or so. Hanging out on balcony/deck is never a problem, but not many chairs or tables. Not really enough tables for everyone to sit and eat. Pool area is small, there's not a lot of room to move around or walk;especially if kids want to move around or sit and play. My kids never posed a problem with management or getting yelled at. I would keep looking. Diagonally across the street is a place called the compass. They have a little mini golf, shuffle board, ping pong tables and game room. Clean and friendly. First floor rooms would be very accommodating for large groups and I think the rooms have been remodeled with updated kitchens. More kid friendly amenities! Enjoy your trip!!!!!

"All rooms have an ocean view, the 2nd floor is best for families, and the ocean front rooms are more private."
