BUYER BEWARE I had called to inform the Biscayne I tested positive for Covid 5 days before my check in date in late June. When speaking with them, I was unable to transfer my deposit. I can understand this policy so I left it at that. An hour later I get an email saying my reservation has been cancelled. I emailed them back saying I never cancelled it and if I was not feeling better by day 5 I would call the morning of check in to cancel it officially. They told me it had already been cancelled and if I wanted to try to still come, I would owe a second deposit & ran the risk of loosing that too if I was still sick and having symptoms. Clean interior and exterior. Hardworking and friendly staff. We have found our spot and love it! Ice machine. Two pools. Close walk to beach or bay. Friendly housekeeping staff. No complaints honestly. Family owned and we appreciate managemt working with us to accommodate our big group. We will be back!

This was our first time staying at the Biscayne. Owner, Management and Staff are accommodating to the needs of guests. Their attention to detail is evident throughout the property. The room we had was not only clean but tastefully updated. You will not find mold, mildew, slipshod repairs or sloppy painting here. Over the years, we have stayed at a dozen or so motel/hotels on the island, most have been pretty good. Our experience at the Biscayne was top notch.

Cleanest place you’ll find! Great family-run motel in The Crest. Rates are comparable to others in the area but the cleanliness and hospitality are top-notch. Our family has enjoyed coming here for decades and don’t see that changing anytime soon!

We missed our stay due to delayed air connections and it was too late to cancel. To get reimbursement with our travel insurance company I called to get a simple email saying I did not check in. Women who answered insisted that I take down my review before they would comply!! My review (via Expedia) said simply "could not check in due to delayed flights!". When I questioned the lady (who was being coached by a guy in the background) she got nasty and hung up.

My family and I had a fabulous stay at the Biscayne during our family reunion 2 years ago, and returned this past weekend for our first trip since. We had such an enjoyable stay, and highly recommend the Biscayne for families. Our 7 year old had just as much fun as us, and was so excited to return. The rooms are immaculately clean and in excellent condition. I have some experience in the hospitality field, and can say this is no easy task for a seasonal property to be in such pristine condition at this time of year. Got to stay at the Biscayne again this year after missing last year and everything was just as great as it was before. Everything was super clean and the staff was incredible. They gave us some great recommendations for local places to eat and even a recommendation for a long term bicycle rental. I can't recommend it enough, you won't be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay at the Biscayne. As most other guests have noted the rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful. The room was perfect for my family as it was very clean and comfortable, And all the staff members had great recommendations for area attractions. Will certainly return.

The Biscayne has a mid century modern beach motel vibe with all the comforts of 2021. The place is constantly being tended to by staff that quietly mill about sweeping up, emptying and wiping down tables, railings, ice machines, balconies and poolsides areas. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We found The Biscayne a few years ago and were charmed by the whole place. Been back as a couple, solo, with and without children and still The Biscayne delivers the delight. Every staff person you speak to is genuinely vested in your happiness. We'll be back.
