My husband and I stayed at Gorah this December.A very bumpy unmade road to get there (4 X 4 would be advisable ) We were warmly welcomed from the minute we arrived.nice touches like wet flannels ,drinks and snacks on arrival. Fabulous accommodation ,again little touches like included alcohol ,cold drinks and snacks in your room. No electricity so everywhere...

My husband, adult daughter and I recently had the privilege of "Glampimg" at the Gorah Elephant Camp. Where do I begin? Everything about this place is just outstanding and provides you with a once in a lifetime experience. You are transported back in time to experience the Africa that everyone dreams about. You are surrounded in luxury in the midst...

We had booked for three nights in March but had to cancel last minute due to a ruptured achilles tendon - so we re booked for December 2016. This was our first safari so we really did not know what to expect. It was out of this world, from the minute I had booked to the minute we left the...

Now, this is camping--glamorous style!! Their "tents" are almost elegant. Just a fantastic setting and attentive staff. If you get a chance to go--GO!! You won't be disappointed. Elegant dining by candlelight, good food, and lovely ambience.

I have just left Gorah after a wonderful, restorative, 4 day visit. This is truly a magical spot. The tents are luxurious, and you can indeed hear the animals outside at night. Watching the animals come to the water hole throughout the day, and up to the lodge itself, was an experience I will never forget. Nothing was too much...

The reviews and views on TripAdvisor lured us to this place and our expectations were exceeded tenfold. This was right on the end of the high-end of our budget but we will never regret one minute that we indulged our selves for a couple of nights at this amazing place. The hospitality was top notch, the tents were like palaces,...

The tented accommodation is superb and the staff and especially the Rangers are even better. Food was good rather than great - stopped at Tsala Treetop which is part of same group and food there better - but this is being very picky. Can't believe many people stop here and have any regrets at all. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing location, surrounded by animals all in a natural habitat. What really makes this place is the staff, who are fabulous. If you want to see nature up close and then return to some luxury surroundings in the middle of no where, eat dinner by candle light and sleep in a luxury tent listening to the animals and birds then...
