Spent two nights here. From the drive through the gates you are immersed in wildlife. Zebras and Red Hartebees greet you as you make the 30 min dirt road journey to the camp. The staff are super friendly and the rangers are top notch folk. You litter ally cannot get any closer to wildlife. The food was tasty and well... More

We recently spent 4 weeks in south Africa and did 3 separate game reserves and this one stood out as the best in my opinion. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by the manager Mark who is a true professional along with the rest of the staff. I happened to mention I get travel sick so he had... More

We spent 3 nights at Gorah, a private camp in Addo Elephant National Park, and we loved it. From our arrival at Gorah's private gate we were greeted by staff who knew our names & acted like we were the only guests they'd been waiting for. The main lodge is comfortable, interesting, and overlooks a waterhole. We watched zebra, warthogs,... More

Following a fabulous stay at Gorah last year with my father, I was really keen to introduce my husband to this special, special place, for his birthday. It certainly didn't disappoint. Gorahs charm is from the second you arrive you're greeted like family by Mark and on this visit Cindy. With only 11 luxury tented suites, situated in the middle... More

This was the perfect end to our trip to South Africa. Never having been on a safari we didn't know what to expect but this could not have been better. A really special location and very exclusive right in the centre of Addo Elephant Park. Only 12 luxury tents so very few guests and service was personal. It's very expensive (c.£750 per night for 2 people) so I'm questioning the overall value. Food was ok: dinner was a great Brai in a nice setting seated around an open fire pit... More

From the first greeting at the gate, through every event all through each day to being escorted to your tent room at night, the staff family are surperb. "Luxury tent" doesn't really capture the accommodation standard - it was amazing with lots of special touches. The service in camp was excellent, and the game drives very well done - informative and many good sightings.

We stayed at Gorah for two nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Especially the knowledgeable and very friendly guide(Ryan) gave our visit an extra dimension.
