We had a perfect stay at Stratos. The hosts are absolutely nice, friendly and funny and we got great tips for restaurants and for our further trip. The rooms and the location is also perfect. Directly on the beach and within walking distance to the famous surf spots.

On a recent trip to South Africa, after an absence of almost 8 years, my wife and I booked 3 nights accommodation at Stratos Guesthouse on the recommendation of close friends. What a pleasant surprise it was! We were met by the owners, Gideon and Liezel who greeted us like old friends and made us feel right at home. The...

Liezel and Gideon's hospitality is so sincere and truly excellent. We stayed at Stratos 7 - 9 July 2011. My friend has a 2 year old disabled son, and Liezel and Gideon went out of their way to make us feel welcome and our stay extremely comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved the setting, scenery, rooms,...

“Room 1 is upstairs and has a great sea view. Afrique is the garden room with a partial sea view and is very spacious. Although in the garden, I felt the room quite private as the pool is the other side of the house.”

“State if you want a view of the sea or not, but as said above there is no need to see the sea from the room as you are right by the beach. The balcony is the place to spend the nights anyway :).”
