The location is very nice, the bungalow are quite spacious and comfortable, the only problem is that there is no air conditioning , therefore were rather hot in the evening/night The guided tours by 4x4 trucks were Ok and the guide very polite/helpful; pity that there weren't that many animals around when we were there. Recommended for 1/2 days .

We were fortunate to win a 2 night stay at !Xaus Lodge. We were there for New Year’s Eve 2016. We had to drive over 90 dunes to get there, which was an adventure in itself. !Xaus Lodge seemed like an oasis in the middle of a harsh landscape. The welcome at !Xaus Lodge was friendly and informative. The lodge’s...

Our 2-night stay at !Xaus lodge was unforgettable, especially because of the spectacular view on the saltlake, the quietude, the starry nights, the safaris, the animals and the very kind people (thanks John!).

An absolutely magical experience, from the drive over the 90 dunes to this paradise in the middle of nowhere. Excellent hospitality from the managers and staff, delicious food, our chalet was very comfortable and the sound of silence was amazing! so-so night drive, great morning desert walk, and would not recommend the Bushman Village trip. Breathtaking sunset drive with lovely...

Out in the Kalahari away from every thing what a fantastic time we had. Thanks to Richard and John who made our stay a very enjoyable. We have now come back with a greater knowledge of the veld and the ways the Bushmen used to live. Would like to go back and experience it once again.

We stayed over with friends beginning of January 2017. The location is absolutely breathtaking and very remote. The rooms are spacious and clean with enough space for the kids to sleep. The food was delicious and the staff absolutely amazing and friendly. Thanks for making us feel special.

Excellent stay in this remote lodge in the middle of the Kalahari dunes. Everything was perfect, staff and service was very welcoming and professional, location is very nice and quiet. The lodge is well managed. The game drive needs attention and improvement as there is not much to see in the immediate surroundings of the lodge (except small animals living...

We had been planning this trip for over 6 months and wow it was well worth the wait. !Xhaus is like a beautiful mirage in the middle of their beautiful red rolling dunes. The staff, the facilities, views and most definitely the food was all world class!! We will be returning for sure :-) Thank you !Xhaus

Not easy to reach, !Xaus lodge is truly unique. Its peace, tranquility, sense of place and connection to the local communities is very special. Make the effort if you're looking for something unique but not if you want easy access, speed or even especially great game viewing - but you will experience the Kalahari, its original San people and a...
