Maison Chablis is easy to find off the main central road in Franschhoek. There is free secure parking. The owner greeted us warmly and showed us the room and fabulous pool area as well as giving us advice on what to do in the area....More
We were last here a couple of years ago and we were pleased to enjoy the same hospitality from James and his team that we received then. This time we were upstairs and the room was spacious and comfortable and possibly larger than our room...More
Great stay at Maison Chablis. On top of the nice decorated room, we got lots of advice from the owner, to make our visit unique, memorable and far from a tourist attraction ! I really recommend the place.

There was a mix up with the room required which I believe was not the owners fault . We were put into room 8, up a small spiral staircase . The room was supposed be a sperior room, not sure how that was graded, room...More

Hi, There is uber in the village though I am not familiar with its use in the evenings. We have a several local taxi companies that charge a moderate fee for short trips. Currently the fee is about R240 return for distances up to about 3 km. Uber would be cheaper if available. Consider though the wine tram for a days wine tasting. At R220.00 per person for the whole days transport, it is by far the least expensive way of getting around. We are very central to all village restaurants, and a 5 minute walk on average would get you to at least 4 of the best restaurants. Tuk Tuk micro brewery is just 120 metres up from us as well.
