We booked the lavender honeymoon suite; complete with fireplace right next to the bed and a Victorian-style tub. Two simple yet delightful luxuries perfect for a couple's night. The quick yet courteous greeting at check-in allowed us to settle in at our own pace and without any disturbances. The breakfast staff were friendly and always nearby to assist.

We've been a couple of times and it has always been a pleasure. There is a heater in the rooms to keep you warm. The main street is within walking distance, so you don't have to drive if you taste a little too much wine!

Clean, pleasant room, although a TV in the room would have been nice. Excellent breakfast. Well located - close to main shopping and restaurant area. Better suited to tourists or leisure travellers rather than business people as there is no early breakfast.

The place is worth it . Just few minute walking from the main street where to get the train for the vineyards tour. The room is clean and spacious enough even not the same for the bath . Good breakfast and great cortesy from the landlord.

We needed dog friendly accommodation and this suited us very well! We loved the communal room between our two rooms where we could join up, plus we appreciated...

We were treated to a welcome drink and chat about the town. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choice. The town offers lots of eateries and bars, for evening meals. We recommend a day spent doing 'The Wine Tram'!

We experienced great hospitality in this beautiful guesthouse in one of the green side streets of Franschhoek. Facilities are very good, nice room and bathroom, good beds, space to sit outside in private. Great breakfast was included by nice staff.

“For overnighting, any of the more simple rooms are perfect. For a longer stay, the "deluxe" or honeymoon suite, at not many more RRR, is wonderful - you have your own fireplace for chilly nights and a huge bathroom with deep bath for a lovely long soak after you've been walking the streets of Franschhoek!”
