Stunning setting and friendly staff made this such a special experience. We were the only guests staying at the Manor house. What a treat. Extremely comfortable room, so spacious. They have one of the most amazing Chenin Blanc's in South-Africa. We will certainly be back. This estate is also located on the Frranschoek Wine trolley which makes wine tastings so...

Very nice stay in this country home. We were greeted by an attendant who showed us our rooms which were very beautiful and comfortable under the thatched roofing. Security was on guard outside all night. Pool faced the hills and private. Too bad it was just a little bit too cool and windy the day we were there. Breakfast was...

30 of us stayed in or around Rickety Bridge. We stayed in the Manor House and it was perfect. We were served breakfast on the morning of the wedding and it was perfect. Spacious luxury room with nothing too much trouble. Top tip though keep windows closed at night as mosquitoes were a real pest. Excellent lunches in adjoining restaurant.

We booked one night here after enjoying the Franschhoek Wine Tram experience (An absolute must). We were the only guests in a 4 bedroomed manor house. Huge rooms, outdoor pool, stunning views and setting, lots of lounge/living areas and a great breakfast to boot!!

What a delight to have the entire manor house to yourselves. That is not often possible. I am extremely happy that you had this opportunity. Regards Cassie

Our overnight stay was supposed to have been at the sister lodge, Basse Provence but due to some technical issues in our room, our hostess Heidi was quick to report our disappointment to her manager and without a moments hesitation, Tanya the Hotel Manager, moved us into the Manor House at Rickety Bridge at no extra cost to us. Well...

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Rickety Bridge Manor house with its opulent furnishings. Our spacious room was excellent with the interesting thatched roof. Only negatives were the lack of coffee pods in the room which we had to ask for twice and also the quality of the breakfast was not up to the standard of other places that...

Relaxation at it's best. A great venue for access to many attractions in the area. Many attractive wine estates as well as Franschoek are within comfortable easy reach. If you just want to put your feet up, sit by the pool and admire the view.

Great place to stay and enjoy a typical Dutch Farm House stay..... we as guest's were entitled to enjoy "wine tasting"....which was great. The Only negative was there was no facility to eat in the evening. Although they would arrange a transfer to town.

The house is very beautifully decorated - the upstairs rooms are beamed and cozy with very comfy beds. Nice bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast is served either outside or in the small dining area. Pool is refreshing and has sun until mid afternoon. Location is a little outside of town but there is a good local taxi service. The...

Hello Sarah. It was such a pleasure having you on the estate for a few days. Such a shame about the fire that ripped through the mountains at the back of Franschhoek. A delightful and unusual trip where all three rooms became good friends. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we do hope to see more of...

Loved it here. The old Cape Dutch architecture was so beautiful and the thatch felt cosy. A bit isolated if you are alone, but there is a night watchman with a big fierce dog to keep you safe! Great breakfast, served outside in the garden. Wish I could have stayed longer.
