I have lost count of the times we have stayed at Bo la Motte, but each time is like coming home. We love the farm feel with the chickens dogs, squirrels the vineyards and the olive trees. The sound of the hadidas in the morning and the view accross the valley. Very important to us are the self catering facilities...

Milkwood is a fantastic little cottage amongst the vinyards with great views. It is well decorated and has all necessary amenities. My only gripe was that because of the heat windows were kept open at night and with the strong wind the water proof sheeting in the ceiling flapped noisily all night. The overhead fans were also very noisy.

Value for money, complete kitchen, good bathroom, spacious rooms with high ceilings. At the countryside, with chicken, dogs and quiet. Beautiful view on the surrounding mountains, within walking distance of village. Nice to see how winemaking works.

Just back from our third trip to Franschhoek, the culinary and wine centre of South Africa. A Must Do venue for any Safari to Southern Africa. Have stayed at three different places over the last three trips, and Bo la Motte Farm/Vinyard Cottages the best of the three. A lovely bijou working Vinyard within twenty minutes amble of Franschhoek centre....

We stayed for 3 nights in Goose Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very comfortable, more spacious than it looks on the website and has everything you need, including free wifi. The owners and Elri in the office are very helpful and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. The cottage is surrounded by lawn with far-reaching...

We have been back for our third visit here and the second time to Oak Cottage which is the only one bedroomed unit on the complex. As usual it was wonderful; very clean, comfortable, excellent laundry service, free WiFi and very close to the main part of Franschhoek. The owners are very friendly and are happy to help with any...

Our 4th visit to Bo La Motte , & we spent 2 weeks over Christmas & New Year in Goose Cottage (previously we had stayed in Pear Tree). We did not want to give up the view of the dam, but the outlook towards the mountains made up for this & the accommodation & service was as always excellent.& although...

We have spent 15 vacations in Franschhoek in the past 15 years! We have stayed in several B&Bs in the village, always enjoying our accomodation. This time we tried Bo La Motte for the first time, after friends had recommended it to us. What a great surprise! We had not heard of the working farm and self-catering cottages before and...

Recently spent two nights in Oak Cottage. Would have to say that this is one of the best self-catering accommodations I have ever been to - no mis matched cutlery/ plates here - there clearly has been great thought put into both the accommodations and the property as a whole. Great decor/comfortable and also great to have wine available! The...
