Do not expect bells and whistles, however it is clean and comfortable, adequate accommodation for those wishing to enjoy franschoek on a budget . Wifi is brilliant, but no other mod cons. Annoying was the noisy free standing fan when an overhead one could be fitted. More sun loungers and comfy garden chairs to enjoy the stunning views. Breakfast is rather...

We've been staying here since 2003 and always look forward to returning. You can not find a better or more reasonably priced Franschoek base. The rooms are well appointed with a traditional Cape Dutch farmhouse elegance. We love sipping a glass of bubbly on ten stoop before heading out for dinner and look forward to the delicious breakfast spread the...

We are repeat visitors to this lovely little family owned and run B&B and we love coming back to it. It’s excellent value for money – very reasonably priced indeed! While not fancy or sleek (it has more of a cottagey vibe), it is very comfortable and welcoming and the hosts are very kind and accommodating. It’s location in franschhoek...

Enjoyed staying in this Guest House. Host Grace gave us some good information for our stay. The house is situated well in walking distance to Main Street and all the Restaurants. From the garden and the terrace you have perfect views of this nice valley and wine region. Good value for your money.

Not really sure where to start with this B&B; overall it was, quite frankly, awful - and the reason we've delayed writing a review is it's hard to decide whether the owners are frugal, short of funds, or simply running down their business and/or unaware of how badly it compares to other B&Bs in Franschhoek. In the end, the only...

Warm, friendly atmosphere. Old school polite owners made this a very good stay. Good parking. Amenities are very good as is the location. Highly recommend this B&B. Excellent breakfast. Definitely will go back. Afternoon tea was very good.

Franchoek like Dullstroom is really the yuppie place to be. Notwitstanding this it is really beautiful. Most accommodation is overpriced and meant for foreign tourists. Cape Vue is real old time value and I felt that it was reasonably priced and value for money. It is quiet, stylish and well equipped . I really enjoyed my stay.

The Cape Vue guest house offers delightful accommodation in the most beautiful town of Franschhoek. I have nothing but praise for Grace and Michael - they went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as "good as can be". The room was both spacious and comfortable and the view out onto the mountains is beyond description. Breakfast...

Had a lovely stay here as part of a winelands tour (Accommodation was organised for us). The location is perfect, a 5 minute (if that!) walk from the main street in Franschhoek. We were staying in a room at the front of the house which received the afternoon sun onto the porch so when we arrived we were offered tea...

For the price charged I was very disappointed in the room and the attention to detail. There was one ply toilet paper ( which says cheap) no little shampoos or bubble bath. No Tv in the room and the decor of the whole place was very old and shabby. We were then asked at breakfast the next morning to please...
