Beautiful accommodation in Franschhoek. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home and their attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. The breakfast is top class and caters for each guest individually. Would love to stay here again.

Very comfortable accommodation. Owner, Jeanne, is super lovely. Delicious breakfast! Aircon and heaters in the room, satellite TV in the bedroom, large bathroom. Swimming pool. Situated just 1km away from the high street/ main road in Franschhoek. Much quieter here than closer to the main road. Love to come back.

Maison d'Ail is a wonderful guesthouse in the vibrant town of Franschhoek. It is secluded and peaceful but not very far from the many restaurants that are on offer. The owners, Mr & Mrs Garlick are perfect hosts, very friendly and obliging with a wealth of knowledge of the area. The guesthouse was always immaculately clean, breakfast was substantial and...

My boyfriend and I booked a night away in Franshoek as we did the Wine Tram (MUST DO if you love wine) for my besties 30th birthday during the day and decided to stay the night. We chose this guest house off Booking.com because the pictures were beautiful, it was super central, the reviews were positive, the price was fair...

I stayed here in February, 2016 and absolutely loved the Guest House. The room was spacious, had beautiful views and an absolutely awesome shower! Breakfast was delightful and the owners and staff very nice as well as accommodating . Because it's off the Main Street, it's quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend Maison d'Ali to anyone and everyone.

This property is an easy 15 minute walk to town/restaurants and we felt quite happy walking back at night. We enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pleasant pool area. The room was comfortable and had a small balcony. There weren't any fridges in the room but guests could use the main fridge in the kitchen area. An enjoyable...

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The rooms were large, very well furnished and spotlessly clean. Great view from the balcony. The breakfast was very good, especially liked the fruit and musli. Host was welcoming and helpful. Would recommend this bed and breakfast and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if i was in the area.

This was our second visit to Maison D'ail and, as before, it was a lovely experience. The bedroom was perfect and the verandah overlooking the pool a great spot to sit and read. The breakfast was beautifully presented and served. Highly recommended.
