We have just stayed here and have to say it is very special - lovely staff and everyone so friendly. We had an amazing suite and am just sorry we were not there longer and so have more time to enjoy it. The hotel is a great location for Franschoek - you can literally just walk through it and out...

This was our 6th visit to Franschhoek but the first stay at LQF and we loved it!! The hotel: Franschhoek is a small town and you can have a safe walk to many of the great restaurants. LQF offer a free transfer service that can take you to the good restaurants in the valley, very good if you like to...

Unfortunately we were only here for one night and weren't able to have the Tasting Room menu....our loss! We met previous GM Linda at River Bend and she had arranged for new GM Roger to treat us like Gods! Thanks to both fo you, but every sign was that this level of service was simply normal. Nothing was too much...

We spent 3 nights here, oh how I wish it had been longer! From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a good choice. The welcome was brilliant, so friendly! We were shown to our 'room' house more like, it was huge. Sitting room with a wood burner in case we felt cold. A shower room, with direct...

For our last night in South Africa we decided to stay at LeQuaf. The property is right in the middle of Franschoek, but the greenery and size of the property makes you feel like you are out of town. The entrance is on the street at the back, but the hotel bar and restaurant are right on the main street...

Franschoek cannot fail?Perhaps we're spoiled rotten. Some in town hotels now suffer from adjacent restaurant competition. So here unless you want the 'gourmet tasting menu' you have to go with the Tapas bar menu. Not particularly inspiring and a lack of carbohydrates. Then what's with Nespresso being so good when we are all getting spoiled with 'Barrista' made coffees and choice roasted beans.The...

Transcendent experience getting away from the hot and dusty outdoors and then checking in to this oasis. Top-class service, great decor, airy and spacious rooms. Definitely worth a stop! Excellent restaurant as well.
