An absolutely amazing place, been there twice now and each time has been as impressive as the last. The views are spectacular and the gardens are the perfect place for a post meal drink/bit of relaxation. The staff are friendly and attentive, this little gem is an absolute must for any visit to Franschoek, but you will need to book...

We heard about La Petite Ferme from a friend. our great hosts at Centreville in Franschhoek booked a driver to take us there (and picked us up). Its a beautiful spot, overlooking the valley. The food was delicious and as we have found to be the case in most restaurants in South Africa, the portions were generous. We chose wines...

We spent our wedding anniversary here, and the staff treated us like royalty from the get go. We we were spoilt by the food, the scenery and John and his magical stories during the wine cellar tour. Loved every minute and can highly recommend it for all romantic couples.

A lovely 3 nights at this working vineyard. The Vista Suite indeed had vistas...it is IN the vineyard, overlooks the entire valley and mountains beyond. Sunsets were awesome, and the twinkling lights of Franschhoek below, magical. Lunch was quite good; service a bit frazzled because of sizable crowd. The breakfast buffet assortment was varied and tasty. We asked for lunch...

We turned up without a booking for lunch and there was no problem with getting a table inside which appeared to be the worst table. On being seated, we noticed a few empty tables outside with a view but was advised immediately it was reserved. Menus also were in short supply so we were given 2 rather tattered and stained...

We booked to come here many months ago having been recommended it by many. Food was absolutely delicious - lovely flavours and beautifully cooked fish. Our 8 year old and 4 year old girls both chose spaghetti bolognese from the kids menu - bolognese was rich and full of flavour. Unfortunately they didn't have 2 out of the 5 white...

We stayed at La Petite Ferme for two nights and were not disappointed. We stayed in one of the Lakeside lodges - the Lodges are not 5 star (nor do they claim to be) and are a little dated but they are large and comfy and were perfect for what we needed. The highlight of the stay was the cellar...

Ignore the bad reviews of La Petite. The menu caters for all tastes and the food is delicious with excellent service. They only serve lunch but you can order a 'sunset' cheese platter for later if you can fit it in. We stayed in the Provencale suite, which was spacious and clean. There is tea and coffee, and even a...

I have just returned from a three night stay here and it was wonderful. My friend got married here in the manor house as we had hired most of the rooms for the wedding. I stayed in the Africa suite no 3. The wine tour was amazing and John really passionate about everything. We learnt tonnes and drank the lovely...
