We were greeted very warmly and the staff went above and beyond to help out. They booked us into restaurants, booked our wine tour and gave us recommendations of what to do in the area. The location is fantastic as it is quiet and a short walk to most of the top restaurants. The room was large and clean with...

A warm welcome and a very comfortable stay. We had a standard room in the main house which was very comfortable, modern with beautiful ensuite shower room. The breakfast was fresh with a good selection. The hosts were very friendly and informative about the local restaurants and wineries.

I stayed at Plumwood Inn for three nights during the second stop on my honeymoon. The hotel is well situated, just a couple of blocks off the main road in Franschhoek. You will find that most things are not too far away in Franschhoek. The owners, Roelle and Lucienne greeted us at the door when we arrived. Check in was...

We (2 couples) stayed here on advice from friends, and what good advice it was. The booking online was a little awkward for our requirements, but an email direct to the hotel soon sorted everything out. Franschhoek is a gorgeous small town, in gorgeous surroundings, with gorgeous restaurants and wineries close by. This boutique hotel is just lovely - extremely...

We preferred Franschhoek to Stellenboch as a location to see the Wine Region and Plumwood was a great location within Franschhoek. Many of the excellent restaurants were close by and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The facilities at Plumwood were very good (great bathrooms!) and breakfasts were excellent, with a wide, very fresh choice.

Only our second visit to Plumwood Inn but certainly not the last. Every aspect of our 5 night stay was excellent. Raol and Lucienne are delightful and helpful hosts. The location is perfect - quiet but within 200m of some of Franschhoek's top restaurants. We had a de-luxe room with a spacious balcony and lovely views.

Our first stay but definitely not our last. We loved this place. The rooms are perfectly appointed - everything has been so well thought out. A comprehensive and delicious breakfast served every morning. Lucienne and Raol on hand to help help with all our requests. If your going to Franshoek then pick Plumwood . It's idyllic.

We've just returned from Plumwood Inn. What a delightful place very conveniently located for the town centre. The rooms are large (we stayed in 2)and tastefully furnished and the bathrooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here.
