Roel and Lucienne are wonderful hosts who run an excellent guest house. Close to the centre of Franschhoek, so no worries about driving to the town. We cannot praise their hospitality enough. The rooms are well thought out and contemporary. The breakfasts are fantastic. Roel and Lucienne are always on hand to give advice on trips in the area. All...

Really enjoyed my stay here. Simple but stylish and comfortable with a great location in central Franschhoek right next to a much more expensive and well known hotel. The owner is very friendly and helpful and full of good advice on places to eat and vineyards to visit. She kindly booked us a table at the (very) nearby Grill Room...

Stayed in the Plumwood Inn for 3 nights as part of our Honeymoon, its a fantastic guesthouse set in the heart of Franschhoek. From the moment you arrive with the tranquil atmosphere you cant but relax. The common areas of the Houses are stacked with books and the availability of bottles of port certainly help winding down from a day...

Great hosts, beautiful views from very comfortable rooms. Just a delight to stay here, only sorry we couldn't stay longer. Enjoyed the pool and the full breakfast cooked to order. The owners even took care of making dinner reservations for us.

The Plumwood Inn close to the centre of Franschoek surpassed our expectations. We stayed recently for 5 nights and would highly recommend it as a relaxing place to stay while also enjoying the area. Its very secure and in a perfect location - a short stroll to the centre yet in a quiet residential street. Lucienne and Ruul work extremely...
