The setting in Hout Bay is excellent with the harbour, shops and restaurants being a few minutes drive away.The view from the cottage is impressive.

We wanted to start our annual holiday in Hout Bay for a change. Somewhere to have a few days to acclimatise before moving on. This place is great, the French owners are very helpful and the position is wonderful.

No we don't have air conditioning. The house is built surrounded with a vast shaded veranda and the fans are enough. The nights in Hout Bay are cool with the Atlantic influence. However, I don't know how sensitive your husband is but you may prefer to come rather in Spring or Autumn when the temperature is nice and around 22°c.
