We have just returned from 11 days at the Tarragon, my family stayed in the 'Thyme' cottage and our friends in the 'Saffron', this accomadation had a lot to live upto given the great reviews on here but it easily achieved that, totally secure, lovely owners who cannot do enough for you, fantastic staff, amazing views - I wouldn't dream...

We were recommended the Tarragon by friends who lived in Cape Town and having just completed a weeks stay in Angelica with our 2 children aged 2 & 4 it really was perfection; from the location with great views and easy access to both the local beaches and town, table mountain and the V&A waterfront to the beautifully furnished and...

My husband and I took the unusual decision of taking our three month old baby on holiday to South Africa, one of our favourite countries in the world. We were concerned that Cape Town might be an over ambitious part of that trip from a security perspective. We need not have worried. In the Tarragon we felt completely safe, had...

We are just coming to the end of our second stay at The Tarragon and were so pleased with the place that we plan to return. This year my wife and I stayed in Saffron which, if anything, is even more spacious than their other one bed unit, Jasmine, where we stayed last February. I would summarise the attractions of...

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Tarragon. The only problem is that you never want to leave the apartment, because it is so nice! Also garden and pool are very nice. It is only a short drive to Hout Bay Beach and Kirstenbosch Botanical I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

2nd visit to The Tarragon - but wouldn't stay anywhere else!! Love the peaceful, beautiful setting of this place where relaxing just comes naturally. The staff and Mark are all lovely and cant do enough to help you if you need it. We also found that having laundry facilities on site really useful especially after 10 days of constantly being...

Our second time in Thyme. Love the new editions around the pool (Happy Birthday Mark). This place just completely relaxes our family. This time we spent Xmas here and the kids loved it. It still pains me to review it as I want to keep this place a secret. Pencil us in for Xmas 2018 guys!

We stayed with our family for a week in Thyme then had a two week break in Jasmine when the kids went back we've stayed several times hence the reason to keep this a secret or else you'll all want to go 😜 Mark is not only helpful but goes out of his way to make you feel totally at...

We chose the Tarragon as our location for our honeymoon over this Christmas/New Year - I was delighted with our experience. I can only describe the location as idyllic! The large gardens and swimming pool come with the stunning scenery of the neighbouring mountains. It is a peaceful retreat. You are also very conveniently close to Hout Bay beach and...

This was our second time visiting the Tarragon, again in Angelica cottage. It's a remarkably relaxing place set in the hills overlooking Hout Bay. As others have said the location is great for exploring some local attractions, but the property itself is a lovely place to spend time. Our cottage was large, airy and well equipped and the kids loved...
