We originally booked this hotel for 3 days, but extended our stay for 2 more days as we really enjoyed the great location, relaxed atmosphere and great bedroom. Our room was spacious, modern, clean and from every part of the room, there was a view of Hout Bay! The hotel is situated at the start of the Chapman's Peak route...

Sit outside and view the sea as you eat the best calamari ever! It's a popular place so get there early for lunch. All the food is good, I like the calamari and Portuguese steak in a pan, or calamari and prawns in a pan, calamari and line fish in a pan. Not all the dishes are in a pan!!

We were in the new section with a balcony and sea views. Everything that we could possibly want was there - a king size bed, free wifi, a well equipped and spacious bathroom with a shower as well as a bath and a hair dryer was also available. Best of all because the bathroom was so well designed, the toilet...

This is a great hotel, in a wonderful location. It overlooks the beach where you can have a jog or walk across the sand to Hout Bay. The hotel is very cosy and comfortable, with excellent rooms and breakfast, very good service overall.

The restaurant was good and hotel is within walking distance to the beach and other...

Stayed for two nights at the end of a two week trip to South Africa. The sea view rooms in the new block are great. Amazing views from the balcony and a great spot for sunset drinks. The hotel has some real olde worlde charm with all the convenience and comfort in the new block. Only issue was the limited...

What a wonderful location! The views from the gorgeous new rooms are to die for. The rooms are wonderful, spacious and clean, with real WOW factor. The beds are huge and comfy and have crisp white bedlinen. The little balconies look west so the evening sun pours into the room, and you can watch it go down having a beer...

I was at the Chapmans Peak Hotel there a couple of times in February or March 2013, 2014, 2015 - and loved it every time. It's remote from the busy Cape Town, you have a great view over the Hout Bay, even when you swim in the pool. A small one but very lovely one. The hotel has a great...

Nice and clean hotel, everything worked well, nice staff. Nothing special, but okay for the price and solid. Rooms to the back have direct in front a hill, but the hotel is anyway just for sleep and eat and not to spend a lot of time there (althought the pool has a nice view) and the bar/restaurant are good.

Have a run up Chapman's peak - one of the most amazing views in Cape Town. The velocity gym next door is literally on,y 50 m away. Day passes...
