We stayed for 2 nights at the Robertson after attending a conference in Cape Town. We had a fabulous stay there from start to finish with wonderful staff, delicious food, great ambience and a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Also we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and pool. We would highly recommend the Small Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great room and dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Stable room was fantastic. We then had breakfast... All was OK until the warm breakfast was ordered. There was no smoked salmon for the frittata. The shops in town were open, get some! The bread was their own, if you didn't like it, tough. There... More

We stayed in eight hotels in South Africa over our three and a half week honeymoon and this was the best of them all. Whilst we stayed in hotels that cost over three times the prices and many had more accolades and awards, this hotel was outstanding and stood head and shoulders above the rest. From the moment we arrived... More

Having been here before, we thought we would be in for a real treat and booked four nights in one of the stable cottages thinking they were in a more peaceful position, wrong!! The honeymoon suite is directly above our room and with no sound proofing you could hear everything, including the use of the toilet, when we told the... More

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff, an attentive and very helpful manager and in a great location to explore the Robertson valley. The food in Reuben's is superb and beautifully presented. We stayed in the main house in a beautiful room however the down side was that we heard all the staff arriving and setting up for breakfast. A pool... More

Beautifully appointed Boutique Hotel, very friendly staff, a real treat in the wine valley of Robertson in the Cape! I would recommend a poolside room which leads into the pool. Reubens Restaurant also great. Perfect base for exploring wine and olive estates, highly recommended!

Stunning guest house property with a wide variety of excellent rooms with various price ranges. Service is definitely 5 star. Reubens restaurant onsite is outstanding and the wine list is extensive. They even wash your car for you in the mornings!

Overall a fabulons boutique hôtel- the best rooms are the ones which open directly onto the deck/swimming pool. Have stayed in two other rooms including honeymoon suite which is to die for but you feel disconnected from the pool- maybe some would prefer that. It would depend on the time of year you stay but trust me, you need the... More

It is pretty much impossible to too the Robertson Small Hotel. Its lication in the sleepy town surrounded by endless wineries and beautiful landscape. This was our second visit - the first being our first weekend away as a couple a few years back. I decided to take us back to where it really began back in 2013, and they... More
