The room was well appointed with all the amenities you might require. The...

What can I say this time around? We like Blaauwheim, and I keep saying so in review after review. Last review, I mentioned the Cat who runs the place. Don’t, whatever you do, take it’s chair at breakfast! You have been warned! This year the chameleons ruled our days, and hours were spent peering into the bushes for the elusive...

I had an overnight stay on a business trip at Blaauwheim. Everything was like on the website. I can recommend this beautiful, owner managed guesthouse with its welcoming atmosphere in a lovely garden setting. Johan and Jo-Anne went out of their way to make my overnight stay an almost perfect one. Great stay! Great breakfast!

Dear Willem We were surprised the first time a guest made the remark that "Your guest house / room looks just like it does on your web site". Now we know that too many people to mention have been conned by phony claims and creative photography on the internet. Thank you for stating that so emphatically in your review and...

Wow! We were spoiled with luxury, service and warmth. Johan and Jo-Anne are spectacular hosts and as per many other reviews, the breakfast is truly a treat. The rooms are beautifully decorated, it feels like home. I will prefer this guesthouse over most hotels.

Dear Intergoal Thanks so much for this little gem coming from such a seasoned reviewer. It was great having you at Blaauwheim and learning more about your special interests. It was also a treat seeing the way your wife set and decorated the table in Pinotage. Saddle up that winner soon! Regards Johan and Jo-Anne

The owners, Johan and Jo-Anne Blaauw, were most welcoming from the minute we arrived. They gave us valuable tips about restaurants and sights in the area. The suite we booked was immaculately clean, most comfortable and very spacious. We clearly recommend Blaauwheim Guest House. It is located close to the Cape winelands, but also the coastal areas as well as...
