The staff and Management were a delight to deal with and made my stay in Somerset West that much better. I will not forget my time there. I will return to De Molen whenever I am in the area for business or pleasure.

We were summoned to dinner at 5.45pm to be faced with a huge mound of pasta and chicken and potatoes served with a starter...

The estate is beautiful, rooms are nice- but nothing special. The stay fell down with the service given by the staff- friendly but not helpful, the lack of maintenance, and issues with water pressure. Rooms would have some tea, no coffee, no milk. Service was hard to come by.

We had a very nice and quiet stay at De Molen Guest House. The house was lovely and the beautiful and leafy garden flaunted with herbs and fruit-trees and had a nice little pool. The staff was very friendly, easygoing and accommodating. Breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit,

Beautiful view from the mountains. it is a very old house with lovely details. Big rooms and a practical bathroom, nothing special. The only thing: you can hear a lot... In the morning an excellent breakfast with an amazing view on the deck. Perfect for a night an visit the environment, not far from CPT airport.

We do apologize for the lights left on, and as a consequence the mosquitoes, however we did not want you to fall over something in the dark! We hope you will consider us again at some point
